“Noisy , expensive but Wow what an experience!!!!”

We made reservations for the "Chef dinner" on the bar to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The seating was a bit too crowded for us but we went along. The dinner consists of the chef serving us dishes at random. So you get to taste a bit of everything from what the place has to offer. The kitchen is open towards you and you can appreciate the hard work of the staff while u see them cook for everyone. They goof around and dance to the loud good music. The food was fabulous and the bill was as well. But it was a special occasion and we knew in advance that it is expensive. We will be back on our 40th!!!

“Vibrant, wild, and , entertaining dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

This restaurant is slightly off the beaten path but has a well deserved reputation as one of the finest restaurants in Israel. Adventuresome menu with fresh ingredients. The staff is having a great time and it's infectious as was noted by another reviewer. We sat at the bar and the people watching was a blast. My wife tried to fix up the male and female wait staff and they went along with it. It's noisy so don't anticipate a quiet romantic dinner but you need to go with the Zeitgist of the place. Fun, fun, fun. There is no sign and we actually walked right by it.

“Excellent !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

A very nice surprise near the market. The food is delicious, generous and full of imagination. I recommand the polenta with truffle oil which can be taken as a main course if you want to try the desserts !!! Even if it's a bit noisy, it suits the ambiance. A authentic place to try quickly !!!

“Great Experience, Service and Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

We went on Saturday night when it opened at 9:15 - not an easy reservation to get at any time. The energy in the place was great and infectious. How incredible to see what's gone on in a neighborhood which used to be pretty stayed and quiet at night (during the day is another thing). The staff was great, friendly, helpful and attentive. Looking into the kitchen was also a teriffic part of the experience. The food was really good and really different. My wife got the "Make your own tartar" and I started with the polenta...both wonderful...and the way everything is served adds to the experience. The entrees were equally interesting. Great night! GO!

“Noisy, charming, Unforgettable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

We came for dinner at the bar facing the chef, but they accidentally gave our seats to someone else ...As compensation, we got very luxurious service, champagne on the house and enjoyed special dishes and varied and very tasty. The place is very noisy , expect dancing waiters and probebly the chef will tapp on the pots anf pans. Without a doubt a unique experience.
