We used Danny the Digger for a very informative and enjoyable tour of Ceasaria and Herodian. Danny is an archeologist and Bible scholar and really knows his stuff. I cannot recommend him highly enough. At Ceasaria we walked from the massive aqueduct to the site of Ceasar's port and hippodrome along the beach on a most beautiful winter day, at Herodian he showed us the site of where King Herod was buried, on the side of the hill, it was an amazing find!! As I said, highly recommended tour guide with perfect English.

“Do not miss this great experience”

We had the privilege of touring with Danny to the the Dead Sea, Masada and Ein Gedi. While I have visited these sites many times before, his erudite descriptions and deep knowledge added new depth and insight into these wonderful places. My children , young adults, who do not always share my love of history, said he was the best guide we had had and found his commentary fascinating. The ride was comfortable, air conditioned and plenty of space for 5 adults. We give him our highest recommendation and look forward to travelling with him again on our nest trip

“Spot on with Indiana aka as Danny the Digger”

Through fortune we were connected with Danny Herman also known as "Danny the Digger" who gave us great insides to Jerusalem the holy city for the three major Abrahamic religions—Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Following the convenient pick up at our hotel, Danny, a studied archeologist already and also a teacher in tour guide courses brought us great insides in a very understandable language and fashion in when mounting towards Jerusalem.

Danny was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and personable as we would have known him for years. With his experience he guided us in a manner making sure we avoid the big tourists group in order to minimise unnecessary waiting times.

We enjoyed our trip and Danny was a large part of it. Danny also spontaneously arranged us a trip to Bethlehem where we had to swap the guide. His choice on the other guide was excellent which rounded up our overall experience of the holy place.

Our day with Danny was a wonderful and educational and superseded our expectations. We almost forgot that we were on a business trip. I can truly recommend him making your trip to the holy city an unforgettable experience.

Danny is an amazing tour guide with an incredible grasp and knowledge of Biblical history. He took us to unbelievable archaeological sites and tied everything together with his narrative. Simply the best guide and a great person.

“One of the best private tour guides I have had”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Danny was simply one of the best for a multitude of reasons. He was direct and efficient - keeping a pace that allowed us to see what we wanted with the amount of free time that we dictated. We toured Jerusalem with him and his knowledge was indispensable. He gave us interesting facts and kept his personal religious views to himself which I think is great for groups. He made shopping and lunch recommendations and even made us dinner reservations that evening. Very friendly with a great sense of humor and an obvious intellect which is respected. The only suggestion I would make to him is to send a thank you email to his clients afterwards - was surprised by this but not a big deal. In setting up the appointments, he was very quick and direct and easy to work with. And his prices seemed quite fair in comparison to research.
