I wrote already about Ein Karem in Jerusalem. Mystic, pastoral, multi-religious with Monasteries and Churches, Music and Art Galleries but also with a lot of restaurants with different cuisine. Now I would like to tell you about Trezoro Bar-Restaurant excellent ice-cream of which is well-knowing around the world. Student of mine from Brazil came to study here and the first thing she dreamed (after The Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha, of course) was the Trezoro ice-cream she heard about in Brazil.
Italian cuisine, pizzas, pasta, ravioli, fettuccine etc. are every time without risk of loss, especially with children, cold beer in hot day after walking between churches or a cap of Israeli, like Italian cappuccino, coffee "aphuh", that means "opposite" in Hebrew. Interesting, cosy design of place, pretty tasty food. But my recommendation to Chef is to wash better veggie and lettuce leaves because I have got it full of sand.
