“Slow service and greasy food”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Service is VERY slow. I ordered a burger and their version of onion rings/strings. Not the best tasting food in Jerusalem. They are open on Shabbat, but so are other food establishments.

For their slow service and greasy food, I would rate them a 2.5, but that is not available. Places like Bolinat make you wish there was a Denny's nearby. That's really sad!

“A Great Disapoinment”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

We went to have late dinner after a fabolous visit to the festival of lights in Jerusalem. My friend, who used to live in Jerusalem, recommended this place so we decided to try. I must say this friend was completely ashamed because we had an awful experience.
When we sat the waitress (who wasn't very polite) took our orders. Hamburger (for me), fish and chips (for a friend) and mini-schnitzels (for another friend). Our friend specifically asked to have a vegetable salad instead of a green one next to her schnitzels and the waitress said it was possible. We were waiting for approximately 25 minutes before we asked what about our food. The waitress answered that the kitchen was busy and there were other people who should get their orders before us. She used an extremely rude and conceited tone!
Finally after 15 minutes (40 minutes in total!) and asking another waitress, the food arrived. The mini-schnitezls were burnt and greasy and arrived with the green salad instead of the desired vegetable one. In response to that, the waitres said that the kitchen was busy and that is the original form so they would not spend time on cutting a vegetable salad. Nobody said anything about it during the 40 minutes of waiting. When my friend wanted to return the plate, the chief waitress rebuked her for forcing her to return a plate after such hard work in the busy kitchen.

The other plates were not good either. The fries were thin and greasy, the hamburger over cooked and dry (I asked for medium well and received try and tasteless well done). The fish was greasy and no lemon even though it was asked for. We were very disappointed and it kind of ruined our lovely night in Jerusalem. Let alone that because of the long waiting we came back very late to Tel Aviv which was really annoying!

“Great Coffee. Open on Shabbat”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

We were out for a walk with our grandson and came upon this place. all we wanted was a coffee. My husband had the Turkish Coffee which was so good he ordered a second one. Ihad a really delicious cappuccino which I thoroughly enjoyed. The girl at the next table had a breakfast bagel and it did look fresh and delicious. The place was buzzing and it was only 10.30am. Cant speak personally about the food but highly recommend the coffee. The waitress that served us was very efficient considering she was the only one serving all the tables.

“open 24 7”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

its an ok place that is open all the time.
it has a good atmosphere of young and cool jerusalem, for this place is really loved by the university students.
the food is nothing to write home about, but the beer is good and its a good place to pass on your way home from a long night of having Jerusalem style fun.
