We went to have late dinner after a fabolous visit to the festival of lights in Jerusalem. My friend, who used to live in Jerusalem, recommended this place so we decided to try. I must say this friend was completely ashamed because we had an awful experience.
When we sat the waitress (who wasn't very polite) took our orders. Hamburger (for me), fish and chips (for a friend) and mini-schnitzels (for another friend). Our friend specifically asked to have a vegetable salad instead of a green one next to her schnitzels and the waitress said it was possible. We were waiting for approximately 25 minutes before we asked what about our food. The waitress answered that the kitchen was busy and there were other people who should get their orders before us. She used an extremely rude and conceited tone!
Finally after 15 minutes (40 minutes in total!) and asking another waitress, the food arrived. The mini-schnitezls were burnt and greasy and arrived with the green salad instead of the desired vegetable one. In response to that, the waitres said that the kitchen was busy and that is the original form so they would not spend time on cutting a vegetable salad. Nobody said anything about it during the 40 minutes of waiting. When my friend wanted to return the plate, the chief waitress rebuked her for forcing her to return a plate after such hard work in the busy kitchen.
The other plates were not good either. The fries were thin and greasy, the hamburger over cooked and dry (I asked for medium well and received try and tasteless well done). The fish was greasy and no lemon even though it was asked for. We were very disappointed and it kind of ruined our lovely night in Jerusalem. Let alone that because of the long waiting we came back very late to Tel Aviv which was really annoying!
