“Not really the best!”

Nice atmosphere, the dose we chose was not big enough and not particularly tasty. At this point we examine other restaurants.

“good food and atmosphere”

This is a favorite dairy restaurant for people who live in Jerusalem. It has 3 locations: the first is on trendy Emek Refaim --which is were Israelis go to hang out , people watch and window shop. There is another branch in the 3rd floor of the Jerusalem Mall and my favorite at the Botanical Gardens overlooking the swans swimming in the pond. Try the "Arragata " salads, they are great. Also very good pan pizza and pastas. The Salmon is also tasty. Good service and they won't rush you out.

“Caveat Empetor (may have wrong spelling)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2012

We were 8 family members celebrating my sister's 85th birthday at the Malcha Mall branch of Caffit. The pizza ordered by the 13-year old was fantastic, great mozzarella cheese. Two of us had ravioli - very al dente - which would have been much better had it been cooked longer and less salty. One had leek burgers which were delicious, but extremely greasy and salty. The rest of the family had salads were were very good - especially the asparagus salad. HOWEVER, did you ever hear of a restaurant charging over $2 for pesto sauce to spread on your bread? One member of the family cannot eat butter or margarine so she asked for pesto sauce as a spread. They charged NIS 8 for this (over $2). I thought this is outrageous! Most restaurants, knowing a special event is being celebrated, bring out a cake, gratis, for the honoree. At Caffit at the Mall they CHARGED US NIS 36 ($9.60) for a piece of chocolate cake with a small scoop of unidentifiable-flavor ice cream wth whipped cream with sparkler on it, with spoons for guests to "dig in", no plates: Not an attractive site. My advice is, stick to the salads and pizza and don't ask for pesto to spread on your bread!
