We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our trip to the Holy Land.

The food was very good - breakfast and dinner..... the breakfast highlight was the superb bread / rolls and the made to order omelettes.
The bar was reasonably priced and the barmen (and Reception staff) were efficient and pleasant - for the smoker there were a couple of tables at the front of the hotel.

Our room was comfortable and clean - with a small fridge - although the AC unit refused to work.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Damascus Gate of the Old City - the walk is perfectly safe - we did it a number of times.

The outside pool and terrace looked a bit forlorn (we could see it from our room) - the pool looked as though it had not been cleaned for a long time and the terrace and pool appeared to be shut (well it was late Feb / early March).

Wifi was free for the first hour (the Reception staff provide the user name and password) and there were a couple of terminals by the bar that provided free internet access.

I would stay here again.

This is the hotel We always stay in Israel 2-3 times a year, this time We had an excellent experience a special host with Yael Hazan her guest relationship with us as well with others we observed was the best we ever had in a hotel. We think hotel owners should only hire hosts like herself. We really thank you for having her there. Aaron and Frieda Weiss

Stayed at this hotel for four nights as part of a coach party. Large hotel clearly used to dealing with large groups. Food choice was excellent both at breakfast and dinner and the quality of the food good too. Rooms are comfortable and separate toilet from the bathroom is useful. Very central to the old city and easy walking distance. Nice bar area with a good selection of drinks, just right for a relaxing break after a heavy day of sightseeing. Beware of the Shabbatt lifts on the sabbath or it will take forever to get from floor to floor but there are two other lifts which operate normally at all times.
