“Calm courtyard !”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

A small bar hidden in a courtyard just off Jaffa gate - calm place and the best limonade I ever had after, to be fair, few hours of walking through the old town.

“Great find”

An oasis from the bustle of Old Jerusalem. Very tasty appetizers, the best beer we've found in the mideast (Taybeh dark Palestinian), and very warm service.

“A shady spot just off Jaffa Gate”
Reviewed April 26, 2014 via mobile

A quiet oasis just off Jaffa Gate. Nice clean interior in an old stone building. Exposed arches and just a touch of colour in the form of Arabic tiles.

Sandwiches are good. Salads generous. Palestinian beer (Taybeh) worth trying.

Eating in the courtyard under the umbrellas on a hot Jerusalem day, helps keep you going for the visit to the Tower of David Museum just opposite.

“Highly recommend in old city Jerusalem”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

We have eaten here a few times over the few days we have been in Jerusalem and haven't been disappointed once. Right in Jaffa Gate The alley way seating near the Imperial Hotel is away from the crowds of the street and a pleasant place to rest and eat. They serve a nice range of Meat and Salad dishes, I also had a reasonable Omelette for breakfast. Prices are reasonable and the quality good.

Every time I am in Jerusalem I go to Versavee. This time our party of 6 had dinner here. Food was very good, wine well recommended and service just fine. For sure I will be back!
