We went in July, family of 4, to what is billed as the best restaurant in Jerusalem at 7pm. We had to sit in the court yard with the stray cats. The weather was good, and the courtyard is pretty, so this was OK. We did get amuse bouches right away. But it was 30 minutes before we got a menu and longer before we got drinks. This restaurant seats maybe 30 and only had about 8 patrons. Why the wait? We opted for the tasting menu, so we could try everything. The food took a LONG time. The kids didn't like it and fed some of it to the cats (who were so used to us because we were there for THREE HOURS). We started guessing when the main meal would come. I had the earliest guess of 9:15pm, over 2 hours after we arrived. At 9:15 the waitress comes by and asks us if we would like dessert. Imagine our frustration! We should have left then. I spoke to a manager who assured us the food was coming. 15 minutes later it did. There were minor attempts to make it up to us, extra drinks, and extra dessert. But the dessert I ordered never came. The food didn't justify the price. Three hours of frustration made it a horrible experience. But we will always laugh about the best WORST dinner we ever had. DON'T GO!
