“Best hummus in the old town”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

This is the place to eat hummus. The one with slightly roasted pine seeds was just delicious. The service was a bit grumpy, the place is obviously small, but whatever you get on your plate is the real authentic stuff.

“THE Place for Hummus in Jerusalem”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

I've been a loyal patron of Lina's Humus for over 20 years. Friendly service, excellent humus with only humus and vegetable salad on the menu. Summer lemonade is quite refreshing.

Be aware that on Saturdays there is usually a wait for a table and service might slow down due yo the crowds.

“Simply atmospheric”
Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

Simple, atmospheric, delicious. Fresh Humus (yes, the real thing) scooped from a bucket onto a plate, complemented with beans, chickpeas, olive oil and delicious light pita bread. Accompanied by a raw onion to scoop the humus, picked cucumber, fresh chilli and a hot chilli sauce. Simple tasty delight - worth the wait in a short queue in an Old City stone alleyway to get into the tiny restaurant. Don't forget the fresh mint tea to finish off the meal...
