We were waiting in line for some "fast food" when we heard someone recommending this place. We really wanted something good and to sit and rest our weary legs. The Quarter Cafe" perfectly fit the bill. Though cafeteria service, the food was very tasty, well cooked and priced. The potato pancakes rival my own! Salmon was prepared well, not overlooked. The view was special and we could watch the happenings below, including a parade!

Best food that I had in Israel. Perfectly cooked fish and a view that just can't be beat. Decent prices too. I would definitely go back here. Nice people.

The Old City, Jerusalem in the Jewish Quarter - This is a wonderful place for a restaurant! Not only was the view amazing with the restaurant being above the street level but the food was delicious even though it was buffet style. There were several entrees to choose from. We had the Saint Peter's fish and the portions were generous and included a choice of side dishes, a salad and pita bread. The staff was friendly and the manager or owner even stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. The room was bathed in light thanks to the wall of windows and there were also several tables outside on the patio.
We will definitely return! It is well worth the climb up the ancient cobblestone staircase.

Had lunch here, with wine, and everything was very good. The place was packed, so I have often been told to look for the busiest place and you would find some of the best food, and this was the case here. The view from the second floor was wonderful, as several of us got great pics. Well worth the time to find!!

This place is located not for away from the wailing wall
It has a nice view to the old city but as most of the places there its expensive, if you compare the price with the food you get.
I had to eat there because there was one person eating kosher with me but if you don't eat kosher go to the market and pay half the price.
