An Arab Hotel that is working hard to improve with current renovations. Isreal taxi from airport wanted to take us to an Israeli Hotel stating it was not a good area and they do lose bookings due to this. We found the walk to old city great about 10 min to Lion Gate. We found the area safe, large mall nearby.
Food could be improved although we ordered ahead for better meals. Breakfast was ordinary but substantial with a great view.
Good tour bookings and very ready to accomodate us for all our needs ie taxi etc

The view of the old city and the Dome of the Rock from our room and the 6th floor restaurant was breathetaking. It is very well located near the Mount of Olives were the Garden of Gethsemane is located and a gorgeous russian church. The closest gate to the old city is the Lion Gate which also is the start of the Via Dolorosa, so location is perfect althought at night there's no much closeby except a small restaurant and a little food store. Service was good, breakfast was included although being vegetarian they didn't know what to give us, but at least there was bread and tomatoes.
The room was ok, it had twin beds, a tv, a desk and a chair, a closet and a tub in the bathroom with hot water (it won't last for a hot bath in the tub though). They provided a much needed heater.
For a budget traveler it's great however you're not paying a budget hotel, it cost us 80 USD. At the same time we couldn't find anything cheaper in Jerusalem that wasn't a hostel so in the end it was a good choice for us. Our room was clean.

This hotel in a quiet, safe neighborhood was a very pleasant surprise. Given the modest price of the room, we never dreamed we would get a 5-star view of the Old City and the Dome of the Rock. The view from our room was even better than what you get from the Mt. of Olives. The service at the hotel was perfect. Anything we needed, they provided. Without hassle, they arranged for a car rental, with the car delivered right to the front door of the hotel. The hotel is basic, but clean. Our room amply big. 5-minute easy bus ride to the Damascus gate. Walking distance to the Gethsemane Garden and Mt. of Olives. Friendly arab-food (falafel etc.) eateries all around. Don't go here if high-tech chain hotels are your thing. However, if you want a genuine community experience where "real life" is going on, this is for you.

The hotel is located next to Getsemane garden near the old city. The restaurant in 6th floor offers a absolutely perfect view over the old city and nearby Palestinian neighborhood. There is free parking and free internet in the lobby. Nearby there is a small super market. The hotel was difficult to find with navigator due to the street address.

The owner is friendly and speaks good English. The check-in was super quick and all the service was OK. Room was large with large balcony. The room rate is very cheap and it reflects the quality of the hotel. That is, the hotel is old and seen its best and days long ago. Do not expect anything fancy. It is OK if you only want to have a shelter for one night with great panorama view.
