If you like "W" you will LOVE Mamilla so stop right now and BOOK! When you walk into Mamilla you are transported to another world! The atmosphere and the feel just "put you in another place." The lobby is GOURGEOUS! The wine bar is AWESOME idea! The MIRROR bar and Cigar Bar SO CHIC!! The ROOFTOP restaurant has THE BEST VIEW in Jerusalem. The BREAKFAST is AMAZING! The Mamilla Suite is one of the most incredible rooms I've ever stayed in - and everyone that stayed in it was in heaven!!! I was there with a group in December and the service was SPECTACULAR and NOONE complained! In general I find the people at Mamilla can never do enough for you and they bend over backwards to be nice and to be helpful - it's like being with family! I give the service at Mamilla a 12! There is no other hotel like it in Israel! And the LOCATION can't be beat! This hotel is the closest to Jaffa gate and the new Mamilla Mall and it is the closest to Ben Yehuda Street! LOCATION IS A 12 as well!

Having stayed in the top hotels in Tel Aviv that claim to be 5 star but would barely make it to a four star in any other country, our expectations weren't high for the Mamilla. However the Mamilla is a lovely, five star hotel by any international standards. The decor manages to combine the feel of Jerusalem while also being modern and trendy. We found the hotel staff to be consistently helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to find an excellent babysitter on seder night which is not easy. The roof deck bar/cafe is lovely with great views over the old city. The (indoor) pool is also great, and pristine. We only had one (lunch) meal but the food was good. If I am being picky I would say the breakfast needs more variety, it is good but not actually up to the same standards as some cheaper hotels in Israel.

I stayed at the Mamilla hotel during Passover with my family. although the hotel is very well located close to the old city the rooms are very small and the staff was not well trained at all. The meals were not fit for anyone to eat. I will never return to this hotel in the future unless the entire staff changes especially the chef.

We stayed at the Mammila Hotel for a weekend- with my in-laws. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. I would not recommend the regular rooms though- there is crappy views and the bed area is very small (although the washrooms are gorgeous). We ate friday night dinner at the hotels restaurant which was very good- but quite packed. it was also quite pricey.
The only bad thing is that if you are hungry on saturday there is literally nothing to eat at the hotel until the 'shabbat' is out. We walked over down the road to foccacia restaurant which was really really good and much cheaper then the hotel. we ate there twice!!

overall jerusalem itself is so beautiful i dont think it matters where you stay. they are opening a waldorf astoria there sometime next year so i think mammila will get some competition.

all in all pleasant. but wayyy overpriced.

Room Tip: request a room with a view.
