“village green-branch on rachel emenu street in Jerusalem”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

Four of us ate brunch at the Village Green branch on Rachel Emenu Street in Jerusalem. The prices were a bit higher than the prices for a similar menu at the local coffee houses as the products were organic and the eggs were from free range chickens. We all decide to eat an Israeli breakfast which consists of salad, numerous dips [humous, labane, tehini, pesta, dried tomatoes etc], fresh bread [whole wheat, raisen, sour dough] served with butter, a choice of freshly squeezed juices [we had orange, grapefruit, pear and apple-the pear was the "winner"] and two eggs made to order-we had omelets with feta cheese and fresh herbs and omelets with only egg whites and omelets with onions, cheese and mushrooms. They were all delicious. We concluded our meal with different coffees including one ice coffee and were all very satisfied with are meal. The only complaint was that not all the eggs were served at the same time but the serving staff were pleasant.

started fro a small place in the courtyard of the historical bezalel school, although bigger and in a none-character building - still very good food, even for a carnivore like me

I liked this vegetarian option a lot (but I would like to recommend to them that they have more vegan options!) Still, everything was delicious!!!
