Hotel us in the East side of Jerusalem. Very comfortable beds and strong shower in an elegantly designed room.

Staff are great and helpful. Wide variety at breakfast. I loved the free tea and coffee served in the lobby area.

Close to old city and centrally located. Very much recommended.

Hello Widad A!

We deeply appreciate your kind review of our Commodore Hotel and are especially pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the area which is not in the center of town, but it is indeed centrally located for exploring Jerusalem.

We will be happy to have you over again :-)

Always stayed in this hotel whenever in Israel. A bit further ... but easy accessed by taxi to the Lions Gate. This small hotel has very profesional staff at front desk that have all the answers. Rooms are small but nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. Small bathroom but clean, well equipped & with good strong shower. Meals comes with wide variety of choices. Wi-Fi is free ....

The staff at the Commodore are so helpful. Anita and Moaz at the front desk are amazing they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is very clean and only a short walk away from the old city.
The manager was very kind, my sister and I liked a particular dessert so he gave us some to take back to England with us. We had a great view from our balcony I would definitely stay there again.

Family run hotel, very friendly staff and clean rooms. Wifi was very slow at times though, and the rooms tend to be on the smaller side. You can walk to the old city but its a hilly area. Staff treated us to yummy mint tea, and were very accommodating. Breakfast was decent, although food in the e evening seemed to be recycled from breakfast and vice versa. Overall highly recommend!

Location is good. Upon arrival the lady in the reception gave us a free citymap. The local buses stop right outside, And bring you to the Damascus Gate in 3 minutes. You Could Also walk, in approx 15 minutes.
Room was clean but walls Are thin as paper! We woke up so many times, by other Peoples wakeup calls from the reception.. Also the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 07:50 am.... Too early! I have stayed in many hotels around the world, And will not rate this With 4 stars. I booked this through hotwire.com so i didnt Get to know the hotel name until i had paid. They said the hotel was 4 stars And Could be compared to Hilton hotels etc.. Not exactly true.

Dear liljapus,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay as well as you have hoped.

Also, we would have been more than happy to assist you, if we were informed of any discomfort on your part.

The hotel is definitely not a Hilton and we are not; as you might know; responsible for any misleading advertisements that Online Travel Agents may use especially in those secret sites like Hotwire..

Nevertheless, we hope you will be willing to visit us again in the future, so that we may offer you a better experience.

Best regards,

Monty
