We stayed at the ramada for 2 nights, we were very impressed with the Hotel. The position
is perfect t very close to shops, resturants, transport etc... The front desk was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice

Wonderful experience at this hotel. ,light bright rooms.Staff at reception were amazing-especially yaccov shari the maneger . Breakfast and breakfast room lovely, cute quirky decor throughout and very clean-I was travelling solo and felt very safe in this hotel..very warm atmosphere
The is a free parking garage inside the hotel, so that is a positive point to consider since Jerusalem lacks space for parking everywhere
This was our first visit to this hotel and we will come back. The location is marvelous for exploring this great city and we took advantage of the great weather and walked everywhere.

When we got to the room, we were greeted with a bowl of fresh grapes and candied nuts + a very nicee card - they knew from a previous conversation that we were celebrating our anniversary - we really appreciated this attention! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times of the day and night. Getting late check-out was no problem
really.

I stayed with an international group (25 people) from 16 countries (Central and South America, West Africa, eastern Europe, central Asia and the Far East) for two nights over a recent weekend. The Royal Wing DOES seem like the poor relative of the other part of the hotel but we were, for the most part, very happy with the hotel. Specifically for me, as the group leader, Yasser the dining room manager, was amazing - very organized, very welcoming, very helpful. The food on Friday night and both morning we had breakfast was beautiful, plentiful with lots and lots of fresh fruit, fresh salads, and large variety of many other items. On Friday night, I asked him for wine, grape juice and rolls to show the group the Friday night ceremony of welcoming the Sabbath and everything was set up beautifully. On top of all that, after the meal on Friday night, he quickly and graciously found a quiet corner of another part of the dining for a group meeting.
In addition, I and my roommate had a problem in the bathroom and someone came very quickly late Friday afternoon (when most things in Israel are shut down) to fix it. Ana, at reception when we arrived, was very friendly and helpful. Those in the group who found the pool and gym were very happy.
We all were astounded at the high price for WIFI (completely outrageous) and cancelled a Sunday morning lecture as they quoted a simply ridiculous charge for use of a projector an hour. Also as someone else mentioned, several times, many of the group had to wait a very long time for the elevator.

We stayed for 4 days in November 2012 with my wife; rooms were old, hallways smell bad.
restaurant ok, food was good but the rooms need and upgrade. The location is fine, and lobby has some small shops that help you buy souvenirs.

Room Tip: Better choose another Hotel

Stayed for three nights at the Royal Wing...ugh, too long for this hotel! First of all, The rooms are old and there was no airconditioning, just heating. For early november, this was unacceptable. We had to open the window, which kept us awake since the highway was just below us. Lights were broken, toilet seat was broken. We called Housekeeping three times in 3 hours before anyone came, although that didn't do us any good since he didn't fix anything. He just looked at us and left, duh! We asked about WIFI, but that's $9/hour. Food was okay, but as one traveler said, no real main course. I skipped dinner on the second and third night since it was the same food over and over again. Breakfast came with a "fire-alarm" that didn't turn off until around 2 minutes later...the chef came out to say that they burned something in the oven...and that was after a minute and a half of the alarm going off. Elevators were small and some didn't work, almost got stuck in one. There was no one at the front desk at midnight until around 6am. Sauna and Pool was "co-ed" till 8:45pm and then its alternate men and women each day at 9pm. Don't expect the bellboys to help you, they are lazy and damaged all our luggage.

My wife and I stayed at Royal Wing, which is an annex to Ramada hotel, as members of a large group participating in a congress at another location. On the positive side was the food, which was surprisingly good. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The variety of salads was fantastic, and the beef was just perfect. On the downside was slow elevators and small rooms.
