Lovely and extremely friendly little hotel. Amazing location near Ben Yehuda and all the restaurants and shops. 15 minute walk to the old city. Unusual but lovely design. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfasts, Happy hour which can be spent on the veranda - wine, fruit juices, tea, coffee and nosh - all free. We had an ordinary double room first night which was frightfully small (ok for 1 person I reckon) but we moved to a room that they called a triple which was more than twice the size with plenty of cupboard space, spare floor space, tea and coffee facilities, reasonably style bathroom. We can highly recommend it and will definately stay there on our next trip. ~By the way the beds were sooooooo comfortable.

Room Tip: As for a bigger room than the basic double if you are a couple.

Centrally located in Jerusalem, a few meters from the Jaffa Street tram and the Ben Yahuda Street shopping and restaurants. 10-15 minutes walk to Jaffa Gate, or Damascus Gate. The front off staff were very helpful and efficient. They arranged a tour for me to Masada, and a Sherut back to Ben Gurion at 1 am. The breakfast was more than expected, and the 5-7 pm free drinks and snacks is really appreciated. The room was small, but for 1 person more than adequate and the shower was great. The WiFi was everywhere and the TV with BBC, CNN, SkyTV, MSNBC and english language movies was more than needed. I would return here, without question.

I am working as a documentarist all over the World, and had a short stay in Jerusalem in June. Using the Trip Advisor, I found The Harmony, and was very happy to find the hotel excellent, and terrific value for money. Service WAY over what you normally get around the world, nice, clean and chick hotel, also got a free upgrade to suite, but regular rooms also nice ( I took a peak..:) Highly recommendable!

Helpful, friendly staff. Great location, especially if you want to be in an active part of the city with nightlife (and very close to shopping and Old City). Very nice breakfast included. Rooms are small, but nice and well maintained. Can't think of anything bad to say.

I had a 2 night stay at the Harmony Hotel in June and was extremely satisfied. Hotels in Jerusalem are expensive but Harmony represents really good value. The hotel has a lovely, convivial atmosphere in what is otherwise a serious city. The room (506) was extremely spacious and came with 2 double beds. Breakfast was solid with the usual array of Israeli salads and pastries.
The hotel is excellently located close to Ben Yehuda Street, Jaffa Street and the Old City of Jerusalem is about a 10 minute walk away. Take the time to spend a couple of hours in the Machne Yehuda market, have a walking tour of the Old City and be sure to visit Yad Vashem Museum.

We had another special stay in Harmony this June. 3 years ago we discovered this place on Tripadvisor as the # 1 hotel in Jerusalem and true to it's rating it has remained.

My husband proposed to me that first time in Jerusalem and this place and this city is forever special in my heart. We came back for just a day and a night.....a small escape to relive special moments and Harmony did no disappoint! We arrived in Jerusalem close to sundown to be greeted with complementary evening drinks and yummy snacks on the cosy hotel terrace and an upgrade to a suite! The suite is a higher-floor, comfortable, spacious, smartly subdivided room with a king AND a double bed (next time we will bring our little boy to enjoy the double). Both beds are very comfortable, but the view from the double is the best! The suite, like the other room we had stayed in is simply, tastefully decorated with all the quality basics to meet your needs. We loved the large arched windows that let in a lovely view of Jerusalem rooftops and a golden sunset.

The hotel is situated just outside the old city in a great area with cool shops and fantastic restaurants, we agreed that each time wecome back we must to our collection of cool jewelry and special silver judaica pieces.

In the morning after the amazing, varied and generous breakfast.... just as good as it was last time; we met Ayala the hotel manager. She was easily identified by her gregarious, warm interaction with other hotel guests and the consistent stream of local 'inside scoops' she was doling out. A big smile and genuine pleasure of a family host who cares for her guests and wants them to discover the secret pleasures of her city, is what distinguishes Ayala and explains why the hotel is #1 and why people like us come back.

When we booked our reservation, we mistakenly did not mention that we had stayed here before. We were nevertheless treated wonderfully and upgraded, but next time as instructed :) we certainly will call Ayala to let her know we are coming! We chose Harmony the first time for its great location, free parking, good price and great ratings. Now we'll choose Harmony for our memories, the confidence in consistent quality and service and the comfort that there is someone there who cares and will take good care of us.

Room Tip: I certainly would recommend a suite. It's perfect for a couple or for a family with one or two l...

We had a fabulous stay at the Harmony. The staff, the breakfast, and the room were just perfect. After a long journey from California, we were warmly welcomed and treated as friends. Thank you to the manager and front desk staff!

Room Tip: Only stayed in the front room
