We had dinner here with friends and the atmosphere was wonderful - a beautiful view over the city and a quiet, comfortable setting inside. The non-kosher menu had a lot of great options, though they were out of several items we ordered. The meat and cheese boards had great variety and were more than enough to be shared between 4 as an appetizer. The mains were good but not particularly noteworthy. The desserts were delicious and worth returning for on their own! The service was excellent from the wait staff, which is unusual here. The whole experience was relaxing, enjoyable and indulgent - we are planning to return with friends and family in the future.

not a traditional visit for jewish travellers but a must see. head toward the old city and drop in for the wine, the cheese and the view. don't be dismayed in the cooler months there heaters by the tables and outdoor couches.

the wait staff is highly trained for service which is unheard of in israel, the menu is in english and the prices, moderate, are in dollars.

you won't be disappointed. you can also get a bottle of sancerre. so civilized.

This buffet offers many choices and is changed nightly to provide the opportunity to try many different items. The breakfast buffet offers a great assortment and if you want eggs cooked to order just tell them and you will served in minutes. Assortment of breads, fruits and vegetables is truly outstanding.

I was part of a tour group that had lunch at the restaurant on the ground floor. The spread was great - right from starters to main meal to desserts! I really liked the roast chicken and the variety of fresh salad vegetables.

There are two restaurants associated with the Notre Dame hotel in Jerusalem, the Rotisserie and the wine and cheese restaurant on the rooftop that offers the most spectacular restaurant rooftop view in all Jerusalem.
My review is of the wine and cheese restaurant. The appointments of the décor, the atmosphere is unparalleled. We went on a sunny afternoon primarily for the views. Absolute must if you are visiting Jerusalem. We did order lunch which offered some of the same food on the menu in the rotisserie restaurant. I ordered the seared red tuna, my partner order the steak. His steak was ordered medium and came well done with a sauce that was not unlike a basic packaged brown gravy mix, my tuna was bland, on an undressed bed of plain lettuce and raw veggies, with an attempt at an oriental sauce that was like a corn flour thickened soy. Couldn't finish it.
I would highly recommend going and ordering only wine and cheese since the excellent selection of the non-kosher wines and European cheeses is a can't miss.
Go for the views and the atmosphere.
