My son and I stayed here for 3 days at the end of June. The staff were all very nice and helpful. There's a computer to use in the lobby but also wifi in the room. The room was simple with contemporary finishings but clean. We had 2 single beds and there was also a desk and room to hang things. The bathroom was a decent size. Breakfast was a typical Israeli breakfast -cheeses, yogurt, salads - but also toast and jams - not large but enough to get you going for the day...
The best thing about this was the location - about a 15 minute walk in 1 direction to Ben Yehuda and about 15 min to the Old City in the other.
The only negative I can say is the bathroom could use fresh calking around the tiles - its small but it would look cleaner....

Room Tip: If you have any interest in going to a Conservative, English-speaking synagogue - there's one ab...

We absolutely loved The Little House in Rechavia. This hotel was perfect for us as it had a suite for families (difficult to find overseas), a beautiful garden area (we had a few picnics back there which is a nice change from eating out in restaurants), helpful staff, terrific location (walking distance to Old City, Israel Museum, and Ben Yahuda--yet in a leafy residential neighborhood), and plentiful breakfast buffet. If you're looking for fancy amenities and swank furnishings this might not be the place for you, but if you want a clean, laid back, comfortable and affordable option, it is perfect. We'll be back for sure!

We came here from Tel Aviv and we were expecting all hotel staff to be as impolite as in Tel Aviv. Thankfully, we were wrong. The staff at the Little House in Rechavia was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is cute and charming and in a wonderful location. I will recommend this hotel to my family when they visit Jerusalem next year.

When I booked it on Trip Advisor there was an option to obtain a 10% discount. The webpage advised that the printout of the discount should be presented on check-in or the code should be entered online. Seeing as there was field to enter a code anywhere when Trip Advisor routes the booking to Bookings.com (and I tried this several times) I printed the page to take to present at check-in.

Not only was the entire cost of the 4 days deducted off my credit card immediately ie not at the end of the stay as is customary, the staff at the B&B refused to honour the discount saying that I did not book it correctly and should have booked on the B&B's website directly. In my opinion if this is the case it should not be advertised so misleadingly on the Trip Advisor website. Secondly, irrespective of whether there was indeed an error made ( I am still not convinced of this) they should have honoured the discount voucher that I presented to them simply because it's the right thing to do, because one would assume they want repeat business and to avoid my overall poor impression and now review of this establishment.

Further, I also requested to be placed in a quiet part of the B&B and I was given a room right next to reception and the entrance. The floor was dustly and the style of the room antiquated and completely unappealing.

The best service received in this hugely over-priced accommodation was from the gentleman who arranges the breakfasts - he was extremely friendly and service-oriented and the reception staff should learn something from him.

The voucher of 10% discount is valid for direct booking through the hotel web site. This is mentioned in our advertising and explicitly stated on the voucher. The guest booked it through online travel agent so he wasn't entitle for this spacial offer, We explained it very carefully to the guest. We are sorry for this misunderstanding.

Our hotel is located in a quiet street far away from traffic routs, and very quiet,

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip and had a very late arrival on our first night. The staff was very helpful in making sure we knew our options from the airport and had our room ready when we arrived (we got in after 1:00 am). The hotel is small but clean, the breakfasts were good based on the other Israeli buffets we had at other hotels -- they actually provided fresh fruit, fresh bread and brewed coffee. The staff helped us plan out our days and arranged for shuttle service to the airport. Free wifi worked fine for us. I would stay there again.

My five stars are sensitive to the price. As another reviewer remarked, this is not a five-star hotel. Rooms are small, breakfast is adequate but nothing to write home about. But I think it's hard to beat the deal in Jerusalem. As others have said, it's an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate, in perhaps the loveliest residential neighborhood in Jerusalem. Nice cafes and restaurants are nearby. Very pleasant outdoor seating for breakfast and throughout the day.
