As noted below, even with GPS it's tricky to find (just a few steps down hill from where the GPS says it should be. It is worth the effort. Very nice both indoors or on its patio (no view). Stick with the house wine, the drinks are expensive and a light pour. The service was wonderful. Our server went out of her way to make sure we understood what was available and that we could, within limits substitute side dishes. It is a nice place to sit and talk and enjoy a good meal.

This is the best meat I ate in Jerusalem far and away; if you eat meat and are in Israel, this is a must. I had their filet one night and then their beef bourginon another, both were excellent. Also, the Caesar salad is really great and quite large so definitely go and split it.

A decent tourist spot to get away from the crowds. You may need a GPS to find it, as it is set back downhill in a park. The bar has an upscale Moroccan-chic vibe. The food is flavorful but offers only a limited selection and it is very expensive relative to the value. If you go try the veggie entrees: mushroom risotto, or the oven fire eggplant with tachina or the tomatoe gnocchi, and expect to pay 60 NIS shekels or $20 USD per dish. A light vodka tonic will set you back 58 NIS shekels or $17 USD. The service is friendly but harried -- not enough servers. I'm not sure we'd do this again but it was a nice evening and a good singular experience especially since most restaurants are closed in Jerusalem on Saturdays.

Be aware that most restaurants are closed in Jerusalem on Saturday night. Chakra is an exception ...although you will need a GPS to find it.... as it is off the road and down a flight of stairs.

The food is of reasonable quality and our server apparently had a bit too much caffeine....he was friendly and helpful...while he buzzed around the restaurant like a bee.

The menu was slightly confusing as to what were appetizers vs entrees. and they had a nice variety of desserts. They also offers a 'chefs special' selection of various meal choices which was pricey for the types of food offered.

OMG so good.
Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had.
They bring all kinds of little plates to the table when you sit down.
Their chopped liver with onions was better than my grandmothers - seriously.
This is a must - do not miss out.
