Anti pasti, spicy tuna, obergine in tahini, beet root where all very good starters!
I took white fish and shrimps for main, the shrimps where good but the fish had too many bones in it. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be served, I could still do with a little notice.
Desert was ok (Belgian waffle), service was very good

Thank Nadav L

I love this place. It's always busy but not crowded. The service is friendly. The food is fresh, tasty and unique.
We took the taste menu, all was so good, actually too good. We had to stop the waiter from bringing more food to the table. The Chef drop by with chasers and raised a toast with us and others.
We had a great evening. The cost is around 70€ with drinks. Worth every cent.

Thank astalava

My dining experiences at Chakra are consistently top notch. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. The starters are often the stars of the meal. Chakra is literally the only place that prepares a cauliflower that I actually enjoy. Last night I had the beet carpacchio (dressed with honey, candied pecans, and blue cheese) which I liked much better than the roasted beet starter that had been on the menu in the past. My mushroom and truffle risotto was a touch too salty, but that didn't stop me from eating every last bite. My friend's seafood risotto was, per usual, excellent. For larger groups (with a good appetite) the prix fixe menu is an excellent option, but for groups of 4 or smaller, it is perhaps a better value to order starters and mains separately, and certainly less overwhelming to consume. Not an inexpensive outing, but not outrageous given the quality. Portions are not huge but considering that we cleaned our plates, it was probably for the best that there wasn't more of this rich food. Typical of many restaurants in Israel, the one issue is that everyone's food does not typically come out at once but is staggered over maybe a 5 minute period.

It takes a bit of a search to find the path leading off King George Rd to Chakra which is slightly downhill with a view of independence park. Inside is a spacious round room with a nice atmosphere. The food is good but portions were a bit small especially deserts. As the type of food is not very special the prices are a bit high and also the wine is overpriced. But overall it is a nice restaurant experience.
