“Very good place, if you want to visit make reservations weeks ahead”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This place is a very popular restaurant in Jerusalem and if you don't have reservations it would be hard to find a place to seat on any week day, they have great food and service, creative chef and very nice tasting menu of many choices, the drinks and the desserts are also great, my only complaint is about the Saturday lunch menu which I like less than the rest of the week days, they are not open for lunch, but they opened chakra cafe, just above the restaurant, which is more cheap and also offers great and more relaxed ambience. This restaurant is on the expensive side, but gives you the value for your money, so save it for special occasions.

“Go!!!”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

The lamb was superb, and the female bartenders are very pretty, and make a mean martini. Could have very easily eaten here every night.

“Little luck”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

With Chakra you need dome luck if you didn't reserved. The restaurant is big but it's always full.
The service is great and the food delicious is not a little expensive (in average 25-30$ for a main course). There is the menu (5-6 first courses and a main course for each guest, plus desserts for 30$ or $45 - a good choice for multiple guests) or a tasting chef menu with all the best dishes for 60$.
In short, we had a nice time.

“We had a nice lunch at the cafe....”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

We ate at the cafe upstairs for lunch...Food was fine...only issue...our plates came out 5-6 minutes apart...since we were not in a hurry it was not an issue...but it was a little odd how we were served. The waitress was very nice and the decor was neat...

“Great cuisine”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

The food (and atmosphere) at Chakra were probably the culinary highlight of three days in Jerusalem -- OK, except for the felafel stands. Swanky, chic atmosphere, and great food that puts a culinary twist on many standards.
