“We had a nice lunch at the cafe....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012

We ate at the cafe upstairs for lunch...Food was fine...only issue...our plates came out 5-6 minutes apart...since we were not in a hurry it was not an issue...but it was a little odd how we were served. The waitress was very nice and the decor was neat...

“Great cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

The food (and atmosphere) at Chakra were probably the culinary highlight of three days in Jerusalem -- OK, except for the felafel stands. Swanky, chic atmosphere, and great food that puts a culinary twist on many standards.

“Great food, great service,”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

A gem in the culinary scene of Jerusalem. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, tables nicely apart so that you don't have to share your conversation with perfect strangers, interesting menu with the fantastic "menu chef" option offering a number of smaller portions so that one can taste almost all the dishes. Not cheap, but certainly not expensive as prices go today.

“Best food In Jerusalem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Perfect for a business dinner as for a romantic dinner or simply to go with friends. Elegant and informal restaurant with a great variety of dishes. Bests are meat and fish carpaccio. Amazing bruschetta with raw tuna. they also have a tasting menu ( expensive but not so expensive for what you get). For vegetarians, unfortunately there is only risotto and pasta.
Even if perfect, it lacks, as usual in this country, of table clothes and tissues. they just give you a paper tissue on top of a not so cleaned table. But that's what happen everywhere in israel.

“The Best!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

What a treat for well travelled, well fed people seeking fresh and delectable dishes with originality and invention. Absolutely delicious! Wonderful service, too. The desserts not quite up to the standards of the appetizers and mains, but by then, had very little room, anyways. Highly recommended in a city of excellent restaurants.
