“Little Gem in a Quiet Courtyard”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

Just returned from a fabulous trip to Israel and had to tell you about a cozy, unassuming little gem of a restaurant that we found in Jerusalem. It is located in "The Jerusalem Courtyard", south of Ben Yehuda St, between Jaffa Road and Rivlin St. The menu changes daily and is a mix of continental and sephardi dishes. The food was terrific. Great atmosphere. Cost effective. When I return to Jerusalem, it will be at the top of my list.

“jazz bar”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

The perfect spot for a laid-back drink and something small to eat. The vibe is always a bit European, there is usually great music playing, and it is small but cozy. We have not always had sterling service but nothing particular to complain about either.

“good cuisine? not really”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

Nice and quiet location, in a charming yard with a very pleasant terrace. friendly staff but what a disappointing cuisine! Absolutely no taste, very simple dishes. Was supposed to serve jewish cuisine, but does not reflect this. Not worth spending your time and money here, a lot of others great places in jerusalem.

“Hard to find, but Like An Irish Pub in Jerusalem”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

Its pretty easy to miss the alley/street to turn at to find this little gem, but once you do its a quaint place to eat and have a drink. Service is friendly and the interior is very eclectic. A variety of beer options are available. We ate the shepherds pie and had some chicken, which were both satisfying. If you sit outside, a lot of people walk by and keep things interesting. Once down this alley, go a little farther to find other restaurants and bars that are also fun.
