“true Mediterranean experience”
Reviewed August 9, 2014 via mobile

Dinner at the terrace is a true mid east Mediterranean experience' by my surprise it was hard to find in Jerusalem. Do not pass the opportunity to try spare ribs, pork belly, mezze starter followed by nice selection of cigars. Hotel is must see monument it self.

“Best Food in Jerusalem”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

You will not find a better restaurant in the entire area. We have eaten here many times and without fail the food and service is excellent. To be 5 star in my world you can't make any mistakes and they meet this designation with room to spare. The food ranges for local fare to exotic and always presented with a flare for the elegance.
This is not a budget meal, so if you want to save money walk down to Gate of the Od City and have some great falafel. If you want a great dining experience or want to wow a guest , this is your place.

“Lovely setting, great food”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

We really enjoyed the hummus and lamb, the kubbeh, and the salad. The knafe was soggy, but the coffee was amazing. The setting can't be beat.

“Beautiful place, average food”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

Beautiful court but the food is disappointing, especially in view of the high pricing.
The service is average and they were reluctant to give us tap water. Why not? We ordered an expensive bottle of wine. Why do we have to beg for water (it was an extremely hot day, and some of us were exposed to direct sun) ?
I wouldn't return to eat in this place .
Maybe just for tea or coffee.
