You know you are in a very special place when you are directed to sit down either inside or outside and the food starts coming without your having said a word. And if you look around at who is eating here, you can see that people from all walks of life are here. This is a 'family' restaurant insofar as everybody connected with it are family. To be sure, the menu is limited but everything you are served is first rate. And it is all topped off with Turkish type coffee. My wife and I have eaten here on previous trips to Haifa and we always come back when we are in the mood for hummus. Our meal for 2 came to 25 shekalim which means it cost us about $7 bucks to eat here. I ask you, where else can you do that in Israel, particularly when the price of the meal includes a nearly 20% value added tax?
