The hotel is down in the Port area of Haifa. It is a short walk to the Bahai Gardens and all the restaurants. There is parking available next door for 40NIS or you could walk from the train station.
The best thing about the Port Inn is the pretty Russian looking girl on reception who cannot do enough to help you. Normally you get a bored receptionist in these kind of places but this young lady took time to introduce us to the hotel, show us around and help us with local attractions and directions.
The Port Inn is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious. The only reason I did not give 5 stars are the room was a little bland, only a tiny window and could do with a revamp especially the bathroom.
In the morning a lovely breakfast platter was served in the dining room with a friendly service.
Overall worth a stay at the Port Inn if you are in Haifa.
