one of the few places in Israel where Israeli residents feel for the borders of Israel :) special structure, beautiful road, rests against the lower terraces Bachai gardens, every 20 meters, a new restaurant, bar, cafe ..... shopping center down the street, his name City Center Outlet. especially this place looks for new year and Christmas, because today there live many Arab Christians, in the place a great atmosphere. pastime for the whole family.

The German Templar Colony has an interesting history. Fortunately, both the history and the lovely buildings have been preserved and today the district is packed with interesting shops and restaurants. Walk the prominade from the sea up to Mr. Carmel and walk up the Baha'i terraced garden to the top of Mount Carmel. This gem has to be the best stroll in Northern Israel. It is an experience not to miss.

The German Colony is a nice area to walk around in, but it really had a busy touristy-restaurant feel to it. Not sure it's the "real" Haifa, so if that's what you're looking for, this area is probably not it. But the hotels, boutiques, restaurants are nice to look at and friendly to tourists.

The German colony is situated along Ben Gurion Street at the foot of the Bain gardens (the entrance to the gardens is from the top close to the gold temple). Walking along the street you can have an idea about how this community lives for more than 50 years here till the British mandate sent them back to Germany after the Second World War.
Take a guided tour to this area and Wadi Nisnas the nearby neighborhood and you will enjoy it.
