“Interesting history but dated exhibits”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

The history of this museum is fascinating and we learned a lot about the WWII time period in Israeli immigration. However, the exhibit itself is a little tired and dated.

“A fascinating museum”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

A great museum that tells all about the immigration into Palestine/Israel before 1947. The museum is free to soldiers of any nation. You can take a bus from the German Colony area if that's where you are staying - very easy. Just across the street is the Cave so you might as well stop by there as well.

“Well Worth a Visit”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

This museum, as the name implies is two museums in one. Part of it captures the secret immigration of Jews into what was then Palestine, and the other part is the Naval Museum. Both parts are interesting, but my family found the Naval part most enjoyable. There you have the chance to board several naval ships and a submarine. We all seemed to get a real kick out of that.

“Tells an interesting story”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

This museum tells and interesting and important story. However, the museum is very dated, it is quite hot if the weather is hot and not arranged in a way that is very inviting. It is a story that needs to be told and hopefully the site will get some much needed modernization
