This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Israel - the Carmel forest. You will be surrounded by the beautiful trees and silence. This resort provieds you everything you need - great food, great surroundings, the best spa, interesting lectures in different subjects and a great fitness center. You are not allowed to bring children under the age of 16 nor talking on your phone in the public areas. All of those things has the aim of giving you exactly what you need - a time off from life :)

Room Tip: I would reccomend taking a room with a porch.

I was told that this was the Canyon Ranch of Israel, but I believe that Canyon Ranch could learn something about meal preparations from this place. I never knew that vegetables could taste so good, that one wouldn't miss meat, chicken or fish after three nights in this hotel, and spa. The scenery is beautiful from no matter where you look out a window, and the place is extremely well kept. The architecture is unique, and the location, although at the foot of Mt. Carmel Forest, is not too far from historic sites and places to visit in the area; although immediately after our arrival at Ben Gurion, it was the perfect place to go and unwind, get used to the time change, experience a spa treatment or two, and swim in two beautiful pools, one indoors and the other outside. There are lap lanes if you are a serious swimmer, which suffice. There were very few Americans and Europeans staying here, and I suppose that it is because this hotel is difficult to book. If you rent a car and drive there on your own, make sure to use a google map along with a GPS, unless you speak Hebrew. It took us about 45 minutes to get there. We hope to return some day.

Room Tip: We had a standard room and it was beautiful with a good view.

Just the right place for a romantic interlude or just a quiet getaway. No children under 16, gourmet food and a variety of activities and treatments make this the perfect vacation. The magnificent view in the midst of the Carmel mountain nature preserve can make you forget there is a world outside.

This time i have decided to share the lovely experience with all my office team and partners. So we stormed the hotel. All the 90 employees of our law firm, Cohen, Wilchek, Kimhi & co. We all had a lifetime experience. Great food. Great massages. Great pools. Great atmosphere.

Room Tip: Garden suites are a treat

My 3rd stay and first review at this excellent Hotel ...
A wonderful place to be if you need to refill your batteries.
So why a 4* rating and not a 5*, simply because it is very very very expensive and the rooms are not at the level expected.
Especially when for this 3rd time we got again almost the same rooms ... in the left wing, just above the suppliers entrance who every morning play the role of an alarm clock (reverse gear sounds a loud noise just like an alarm clock) and extract you (yes, painful) out off your sleep.
The rooms themselves are not what should be expected from such a luxurious resort ... but hey, may there are other suites more expensive which are worth the price...
Mine was not ... you can take a look on the attached pics.

Besides that all the rest was simply outstanding ! and yes ! This is a truly exceptional Hotel.
My other pics are here to confirm it.

My family and I have been at all the 5 stars hotels in Israel (except the King David) and this one is the best, period.

First, NO children under 18...
a plus, a minus ? Definitely a plus because the silence there (and always) is priceless.
You feel like in a movie: gliding slowly and expelling at last all the stress accumulated in our overcrowded cities...
Sun, Spa, swimming pools, beds on the lawn, warm wind, heavenly Sunsets...
The ideal place to refill your batteries, a true Fontaine de Jouvence...

You have also at every hour of the day sessions of Yoga, meditation, Pilates, exercise and also lectures, till night.
You can also rent for a symbolic fee (6$) a bike for the whole day.

For those of you who have seen the movie "Defending your life" with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep ... well it could have been the place.

The food is really good, 3 times a day, so the gym is a must if you want to keep your slim figure, bottom line you'll never be hungry there.
The menu is sophisticated and the dishes are excellent.
Dinner there is magic if you eat outside on the terrace looking at the sunset on the Mediterranean sea (if the wind is not too cold)...

Let's say that too few are hotels like this one in Israel. Renovated rooms, with soundproof windows would complete a perfect stay.

Overall, a very nice place

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the right wing, far from the suppliers entrance If you're lucky you can get a...

this old facility has been turned into a high-class spa hotel. large resort, comfortable rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, nice spa with saunas, hammam, a huge selection of massage options, very good food all day long, many nice places to spend a relaxed time. the place is clean, well maintained and the service is much better than the common israeli standard. it is expensive but worth the money. reccommended!
