Unbelievable. You can't imagine what you will see here. It's even better then the pictures. It's amazing how its in the middle of the city, but once you enter the gardens you feel as if your in a different world.

It became one of the best attractions in Haifa for the last decade.
Check out the website of the Baha'i Gardens and join a guided tour with them, for free.
I offer to continue going down till the German Colony, with it's nice and special atmosphere.

According to my humble opinion this is the most beautiful place in Haifa & maybe in the whole land.
Under no circumstances should it be missed when in Israel.
The best time for a visit is in May-June when all of the plants & shrubs are blooming, but also in the other months they are still beautiful. Everything is kept in perfect condition- you'll never see a dry flower or a leaf on the ground. I've seen with my own eyes a gardener (all of them are volunteers) trimming the edges of the grass with manicure sized scissors!
Be sure to start your visit at the upper entrance & go down the stairs instead of climbing up.
Even better- take a guided tour. It's free, but you must book it in advance.
Bare in mind that the shrine (Golden Dome) is a religious site, so dress properly & it's open until noon only.

P.S. There is another Bahai site in Acre. It's also beautiful, but not as much as the one in Haifa.

The Baha'i gardens are simply magnificent and so well manicured. It is breath taking to see heading from the south.
