“Fantastic place for kids and adults”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is the perfect place to entertain children, and fun for the adults too. With our kids aged 4 to 9, we played at the first rate playground then walked / clambered / slipped along a well-signed and only occasionally challenging path to the hanging bridges. About 30 mins each way, mostly in sandals (those in flip flops survived, but with some discomfort), through dried river beds, along forest paths, past hidden caves. It was late in the day and we had no food or drink so we made it quick; but with a picnic and water we could have happily spent 3 hours or more exploring the paths and caves, and enjoying the park.

“Great Place for Short Walk With Family”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

The KKL park in Nesher is about 500 meters down the road from the University of Haifa, on Mt. Carmel's north facing side. There are actually two pedestrian suspension bridges over the Katia River (running water only with rain). The park is full of trees and beautiful vistas of Mt. Carmel and down towards the Kishon River and the Zevulun Valley. There are jungle jims for kids, places to have a BBQ and picnic and a walking trail. There are also some prehistoric caves. It is an easy hike through the park and a great place for families. There is a kiosk for coffee, treats and the like at the lower end of the park. Access is from the Derech Moshe road from Nesher to Haifa or from within Ramot Yitzhak neighborhood in Nesher. Enjoy!

“A nice place to visit during spring or autumn”
Reviewed April 10, 2012

The good: 2 hanging bridges crossing a ravine in a forest. A sure fun for children.
The bad: A popular place during weekends, finding a parking spot could be a challenge. No kiosk - bring your own food and water. Not handicap accessable. And not restrooms in the area.
