You don't need to be a birdwatcher to enjoy this lovely resort.
We traveled with "shelter tractor" that enable to come very close to the birds. Great experience for every age.

Wow! This was a truly wonderful experience. We only left an hour for our visit, having had a busy schedule, but it left us feeling that we could have spent much more time there. The AV presentation was first-rate, the walk we took was beautiful: the sound of birds and water, the varied greens of the foliage in and over the lake, the sunshine and the shadows playing on the paths. The Hula Nature Reserve is calling us back to Israel - for an historian this says much about the power of this attraction.

The Hula is the place where rest all the birds on their way from Europe to Africa for winter. There are thousands of birds, it's really great! There are two places, called "Agam Hula" and "Agmon Hula". Despite the fact that the first one is considered more reserved, I loved the second one more. We took an electric car (180 NIS I think) and went thru the fields - it was great!

Dear friends this time we are sharing the most lucrative information. So much we heard of the Hula Nature Park but every time we were doomed by finding the difficulty to reach there without own vehicle. One day it was all of a sudden while searching bus routes to go to Safed ( the artist town in Israel) we found the same bus goes farther north and gives stops to Agamon Hula Lake crossing. You may get confused by the difference in name, but we verified and also visited the place named Agamon Hula Nature Park, which is a bird sanctuary and it is not the Hula Nature Reserve. It is just 15 mins of walk from this crossing.
You can take bus no 501, 500 (Egged) from Merkazit Ha Mifrats CBS which goes directly to the site, and for the timetable check in the Egged website with the name Akhula (National Park).
Now when the journey has become so easy, you must visit this place which almost touches the extreme north of Israel. This wonderful land will give pleasure to your eyes when you will find the wide mountain ranges surrounding the green meadows and the shallow lakes are hosting thousands of birds on their seasonal journey from Europe to Africa. Israel is the major halt for them. There is no entry fee and no limitation of time to observe the varieties of these colorful flying species. You can chose any location for a better view and can take unlimited snaps. Only take care of the water and food as inside there is no restaurants. Along with a souvenir shop you will find one small refreshment shop enough for some drinks and sandwich. So now its your turn to capture the magic moment of seeing thousand of birds flying in the blue sky all at a time.
