“Very bad customer service”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

I wouldn't book this hotel if you can avoid it as the customer service is poor. I found the reception staff unhelpful. I had a minor problem which related to there not being wifi signal in my room and although this is a simple problem the man on reception was dismissive and rude and not at all helpful. I also asked for restaurant recommendations and received little response. The rooms are ok although they show wear and tear and I would consider this more of a 2 star because of this. The breakfast was ok but again quite basic and not what I have received in many other 3 stars. This hotel really needs to raise its game.

Room Tip: Some rooms don't have good wifi reception and I think the ones without the sea view have the wor...

We spent recently ten days in Israel, from which first two in Eilat. The travel agency we made this trip with choose Hotel Adi as our accommodation there and it turned out to be the best choice from all the options: reasonable price for a very friendly welcome, excellent food, very good rooms with nice view on the whole Eilat, the city, the beach, the Jordanian mountains... We appreciated very much a simple, sobre, decent look and atmosphere of this hotel - in a certain sense exceptionnal for nowadays Eilat. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. The only remark concerns the elevator which seemed not having had its best days during our stay.

Room Tip: Definitely with view on the beach.

I spent three nights here in January. The hotel has an amazing view: you can see the red mountains in Jordan, the city of Akaba, the bay, the giant oil tankers in the far, etc. This view has the prize and it is the location of the hotel which is on the hill. You have to take a ten minutes long uphill walk to get to the hotel from the beach which if fair enough, and totally worth to do. The hotel room was OK, the breakfast and the dinner (both buffet) was really good, contained the typical Middle-East food and the international food as well. The WIFI wasn't too strong in the room, but was excellent in the lobby of the hotel. You are not able to turn off the light on the balcony as it is part of the Hotel design appearance. It could be annoying because the curtain doesn't provide 100 percent darkness during your sleeptime.

The hotel is very well located, just down the road from the beach and next to the mall. The location is not noisy, and the rooms have a lovely balcony with amazing views of Eilat. Breakfast is very good with a selection of cereal, salads and hot food. Staff are helpful and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall, would definitely recommend a stay in the Adi hotel.

Hotel website describes it as " a blend of hospitality, comfort and elegance".
Well.... After staying there for a night a can say that the hospitality is limited, the comfort is absent and elegance is simply non existent.
The furniture in the rooms has seen a much better days, the tv is 20 years old, the beds are tiny and the view from the balcony at the 5th floor is to dirty parking lot.
The atmosphere at the hotel in the night seems like twilight zone, as there are almost no lights in the public areas.
The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that they have a free wifi for the guest.
For a good vacation in Eilat choose a different hotel.

This hotel is a 10-minute walk, slightly uphill--or a short taxi ride--from the Eilat airport (ETH). It is perhaps a 2-star hotel, and the accommodations were good. It was recommended by the tour people that guided us to Petra the next day (but we longed for the Hilton, down the hill, right on the beach). We asked for a Red-sea-view room but settled in (for one night) in a city-view room. Our room had the bonus of a view of the local neighbors lounging on their balconies and various cats dumpster-diving. The walk to the beach is 10 minutes or so, more coming back uphill. There are several grocery stores downhill, as well as a small “shopping mall.” It is across the street from the Imax pyramid. Breakfast was pretty good. You might want look at reviews and prices of other Eilat hotels.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Red Sea.
