Our family of four recently stayed at this hotel over Passover. We took a Family Suite which had a Master bedroom with a King Bed (I think they can convert easily to 2 twins) that had a sliding pocket type door for privacy; a living room and small kitchen, another separate "room" with two twin beds (this room had a kind of open divider but not an actual closed door per se); and a second bathroom. It also had a nice size patio facing the pool area. Overall room was nice - fairly basic and clean. It was as expected as we had read the reviews before but room furnishings could have been a bit nicer and more luxurious given the price ($700 US per night that time of year).
The pool area is beautiful - one of the nicest we have been to and I imagine one of the best in the areas. They have a few different pools and one was fairly cold and the other more comfortable. This may change depending on weather and time of year. We had no problems finding loungers and umbrella's even though hotel must have been close to sold out so that was great. Landscape around the pool is very well done. There is actually a kids water-slide but unfortunately it seemed poorly designed as you end up going down it very very slowly to the point that after using it once the kids did not feel like using it again which seemed to be the way most kids there felt about it.
The pools closed at 6:30 PM which kind of surprised me given how hot it is in Eilat but that apparently is par for the course for pools with lifeguards which this one had.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Just one row back from the hotels directly on the beach and only a 1 minute walk to the main beachfront promenade and it's many shops and restaurants. Note that the beach in Eilat was nothing to write home about in our opinion. Very rocky (no sand) and narrow. Ocean temp was 68 this time of year but warms up in summer.
Customer service was good, not great, but on par compared to the 4 other hotels we stayed in during our trip.
We had a few different minor issues that we had to deal with: Upon arrival one of the AC units in our room as not working so they sent maintenance to come and repair; we had a very large bug in the bathroom which I was ok with but my wife and kids were not: you see those types of things in this part of the world; there was a funny smell coming from the one of the AC vents our last night - they sent someone to spray something in the air but it still smelled strange after so two of us moved to another room; also - and I know this one may seem minor but it did bother me a bit: they have an arcade with games right near the lobby which many of the kids used by buying these tokens. I was there with my son one night and there was this machine that looked to be working fine but in fact just ate the kids tokens. I saw one child after the other put a token in (.30 cents) but the machine did not work. I walked over to the front desk some 30 feet away and told them they should put an "out of order" sign on the game so the kids would not lose their money and they said they could not do that...go figure. We came back the next day and the machine was still on and kids were still putting in money and it was not working properly...
If you rent a car be careful where you park as my sister had one and asked security outside where she could park and they pointed to a parking area right there in front of the hotel (it looks to just be a part of the hotel). They did not tell her that this parking area is actually owned by the city of Eilat and there was one of those meter boxes you had to pay so as to put a ticket on your windshield...She ended up with a $40 US ticket but after speaking to management about this for some time they did agree to credit her room. I noticed quite a number of cars with tickets in this lot and assume this happens fairly often to other guests as this whole set up is very un-clear...
Given the above I still think I would recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel with a great pool and a good location in the area. We came to see that the level of service at hotels in Israel tends to be below what we are used to in North America, so was not just particular to this specific hotel.

Due to an unfortunate error of our travel agent we got to Eilat (with our two teenagers) and found our invitation was canceled.
Although the hotel was fully booked the wonderful and very patient receptionist managed to find our suite.
We received a huge room, spacious, clean, optimal location.
So many thanks to Yael and all the other excellent hotel staff

Room Tip: If you are arriving with family the suite apartments will be the best. It comes in separate rooms with a common entrance. Well equipped kitchen.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Central location, peaceful and nice atmosphere. Excellent food and service. Rooms are clean, large and well-equipped. Pool area is very pleasant. Number of shops, minimarket open early in the morning and late in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

This is the only hotel we stay in in Eilat. The suites are wonderfully sized and very comfortable. Facilities are superb for young and older children. Location is also excellent.

Room Tip: The ground suites facing the beach are superb.

Our small family, me (mother) and 2 children (15 and 17 years) visited Isrotel Royal Garden Eilat hotel in last March. Hotel´s garden is really beautiful. A small disappointment was that all poolareas were not open.
Our room was with bedroom, living room/kitchen. Extra bed came out from sofa, and it was really easy to use and it was good to sleep. My tall son was able to get good sleeps there.
Kitchen was clean and working, we made breakfast in our room every morning. Balcony with morning sunshine was great place to enjoy breakfast.

During last days some small ants came first to our kitchen and then to the bathroom. No big harm of those, cleaner took care of them right away.

Location was great. Easy to get to the North beach and Beach bulevard. If needed a taxi, it was always waiting ready in front of the hotel.
Shopping area in the hotel was quite expensive, but basars are so near that it was not a problem.

I believe the hotel was not very full during our staying and that is why it was really peacfull around there. No noise at all. Own peace in room!

I can recommend this hotel to all, expecially for families.
