Our visit to Timna Park was very enjoyable and enriching experience with the highlight a visit to the Tabernacle were we enjoyed a guided tour by a very kind lady who has a obvious passion for her work and very knowledgeable. As followers of Yahushua Messiah ourselves we really enjoyed the presentation and learned a lot. This was one of the main highlights of our Israel tour. Thank you.!

We were with two kids in November. You drive with a car around Timna valley. Beautiful views, interesting places. After that relax and take some traditional meal in the restaurant. Probably in high season there are more things to see/do there, but for family there is no time to see anything more :(

Located north-east from Eilat within one hour drive. Barren large area of desert and the car is inevitable because the distances between the interesting historical places are quite long. There is entrance with toilets and even small cinema.

With 6000 years of history at this location, this is truly a special place in the world. The desert landscape is stark yet beautiful.
There are several areas to visit here. First is the 'lake'. This water is used for recreation and for watering wild animals. In this area is the visitors centre, a shop, washrooms, picnic area, coloured sand bottle activity, minting coins, paddleboating on the lake and bike rentals. Another activity here is the Mishkan. it is an exact replica based on the decripition in the Bible. There is an extra charge for this. Another area is Solomon Pillars. There are no services here. A walk up the cliffside takes you to the rock engraving. At the base is the Egyptian Temple. Another area is the copper mine area. There is an interesting display with tools used millenia ago. Great hiking trails in this area. Such a beautiful place.

The center is divided into a number of sites including ancient copper mining center, The "mushrooms" and Solomon's Pillars.
