We are visiting this hotel twice a year for about 11 years .
the hotel Maintains its level and more .
the rooms redecorated and are very nice
the staff just waiting to serve the guest and always with a smile
It is nice to see that the staff don't change,it is nice to see the same faces it is like coming back home ,and indicates a pleasant place to work in
we are waiting for our next vacation Impatiently.

We had a suite which was amazing, sea view was great. Food was fantastic with many options. If the hotel is full parking is not enough for all. Kids ckub is nice. And pool is great a lot of fun for all family. Lobby is very nice.

Had an one-night stay there. The interiors are really well-designed. My room was full of light and I enjoyed furniture made in lovely style.
Food was pretty fine but nothing special compared to other Israel hotels I've visited. Anyway, local cuisine is quite a healthy so you can find anything enjoyable.
All was OK but I can's say that it's as luxury as hotel claims to be. So I guess it's a bit overpriced.
Also it must be mentioned that it's situated far from coral bay so you want to enjoy sea wildlife you'd better choose south of Eilat.

MMy wife and I spent two nights at Herods Palace and love every moment/ The room was very big, with a kitchenet, a balcony with a magnificent view and a spare bed. Both breakfast and supper were wonderful with a huge variety of dishes. Most recommanded!

We stayed at Herod's Palace for 2 nights last week. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a room on the 10th floor, overlooking the pool and the ocean. The room was nice, clean, roomy, had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs, and a beautiful marble bathroom with long cushy towels (it also had a slight sewage smell which was a bit unpleasant, but we would open the balcony doors when we'd come into the room and the smell would no longer be that noticeable). Attentive housekeeping service, with a change of towels in the afternoon as well as mornings. They give out towel cards for the pool towels and you can take them to the beach. Access to the (public) beach in front of the hotel is through a gate in the pool enclosure. After 6, the gate is closed and you have to walk around the hotel to enter through the front. A bit disappointing was that the gorgeous, big, beautifully designed pool closes at 6 (their literature says 5pm, but the pool staff starts collecting towels and chairs at 6pm). We would have liked to use the pool at night. -- We ate at the Herod's buffet restaurant for dinner twice. The first night (Israeli Independence Day) had a great selection, and high quality of food and was worth the steep price. The second night we were expecting something similar, but were disappointed: a much smaller buffet, lower quality choices, many of them cold (i.e., hot foods that had gotten cold from standing too long), and all for the same high price. Next time, we will go to one of the many restaurants on the boardwalk outside the hotel. (The boardwalk is a good option for walking after dinner: lots of stores are open, street vendors selling toys, art, vendors who offer fresh juice, crepes, gelato, etc etc, a fun experience close to the hotel). Overall, the hotel is beautifully designed inside and out. The service is not quite up to par with the price: the staff was friendly but the reception was understaffed and we had to wait for quite a while even to have simple questions answered because of the long lines. Be aware that internet is very expensive and good only for one device. Final comment on meals: the breakfast buffet (included in our deal) was very good and the hotel provided a very tasty, amply filled breakfast box the second day when we had to leave early for Petra. Despite a few things we didn't love, the hotel is beautiful and worth the splurge. We would go back.
