I stayed with my Mom and sister for a much needed get away. I had booked our trip 3 months in advance. My Mother, who is handicapped, needed a room with a stall shower. After many phone calls, and whatever promises -- no shower and thus my mother went without the ability to keep herself washed for 3 nights.

The front desk staff, except for the manager, Ariel, and the female clerk (don't remember her name, but was extremely) helpful all need lessons on manners. They think they are the client and not serving the client. They had no idea how to make a call to the States, since one claimed -- I've never been there. ATM machine, found it by accident. They had no knowledge that the drugstore has a mini-ATM machine.

The front desk staff is very good about taking personal phone calls, bell hops good at watching whatever on their computer systems. Work? What is that, a new word.

I had looked forward to my stay there; but was disappointed in the lack of any assistance from the front desk. They were slightly helpful to me; but completely rude and unhelpful to my Mother and sister.

The Hotel from the outside looks like a Palace, almost Vegas-style. Thats where the similarities end.

This is again a victim of a so-called, self-appointed 5-star, brand name and ego Israeli hotel that fails drastically in most respects. <as an aside, don't be duped by Israel hotels, they are not governed by International ranking/grades or standards, and they themselves can call their shack 4-5 stars if they choose, most 5 stars are 3 at best according to the international benchmarks>

I stayed here years ago, and again for a weekend in early 2010, in a suite with guarded optimism and expectations - as after all, this was HILTON. Weekend check-in and check-outs are worse than a Tokyo Subway station at 8.30am...have fun. They have not nailed down a seamless check-in/out process and the staff gets as frustrated as the customers....not a good combo.

The suite was a joke. Dirty, no balcony, ripped couch, stained carpets - but a massive TV, so all was not lost. My advice would be to avoid the suites, stay in a normal room that at least has a tiny balcony to sit and look at the sea. (maybe it can squeeze to skinny bodies). The suite was arranged horribly. When you sit on the couch, the windows are too high to see much of anything. (note attached pictures illustrating how much the hotel cares about their appearances)

I will not ramble here, but this should not bear the name Hilton. (maybe Hilton Garden Suites), but do not claim to be a luxury 5-star Hilton. Much work to do for the Queen of Sheba. For the quoted TA price of $360/night? Go elsewhere my son.......ARKIA is flying to Aqaba now, across the border - just mere minutes away, in Taba or Aqaba - these are hotels worthy of 5 star grades......

First time staying at a Hilton and we really didn't find it anything special, we got a suite which we have never done but thought as Hiltons have a great reputation this was a good place to spoil ourselves as a one off.
We had a jucuzzi, on the balcony and the hotel looks beautiful from the outside but apart from that it wasn't worth the money.

There was only one person in the reception so checking in took a over 30 minutes.

The whole suite was covered in dust, the bathroom door had i love you written from a previous guest!! dirty fingerprints everywhere! The jacuzzi had a brown greasy line around the water line (maybe this is normal for outside jacuzzi's?)

Breakfast was basic and on saturdays you cant eat anything cooked in the hotel at anytime all day because of their religion!! I am not religious so had no choice but to eat somewhere else as there wasnt anything good enough for a meal! I would of thought a worldwide chain like Hilton would at least have one kitchen in the hotel to cater for non religious guests!! I was not given any discount for my stay even though I had to go elsewhere to eat, Hot Food is something you should be able to get at any decent hotel!

The hotel also did not have free wi-fi, I would of expected that even if the whole hotel didnt have free wi-fi then the suites and the executive lounge would have had it!

It was very nice looking but just an average hotel

Stayed one night. in room 1022. The rooms was huge, but very simple. It lacked decoration and atmosphere. The hotel should also upgrade its maintenance (this is a common feature in Israeli hotels). The hall for dinner and breakfast was crowdwd and loud. Great thing though is the location, where you have the elevator straight to the mall and promenade.

The Hilton Eilat is a deluxe family hotel, for a quieter atmosphere I recommend the executive floor and package.

All of Eilat is beautiful as is this hotel. We stayed one night after a day trip to Petra Jordan. Close enough to walk to shopping and the beach. The breakfast buffet was an enormous with something for everyone.

We were there for 2 nights, in a confortable suite, good food, good service and free parking.
The Hotel has also a spa and a pool
I think that the best hotels in the city are Dan (first choice) or Royal Beach and only later Hilton (or Harrods)

Spent 4 night with the family. We were supposed to have the room by 3:00pm, but got it around 6:00pm. The lobby was full of people waiting, with kids, for their rooms. Rooms are dated and kinda "depressing" design wise. Rude customer service. Food was OK.
We had a few issues with the Lobby manager - she was not ready to accept lunch coupons we recieved as a compensation for getting the room 3 hours late (although we have been told we coould use it there). Issue was resolved after talking with another manager. Why putting skillless people, with no clue about customer service as a lobby manager. Nevre again!
