“Nightmare stay at Red Sea Hotel”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2014

Very noisy rooms and also very dirty. They did not clean our room for a week even though we asked for it. It was very uncomfortable that during the night women came and had loud sexual activity with different men every night. This is the worst hotel we ever been to and we were glad when the stay was over. This hotel has nothing to offer.

I was at this hotel 20 years ago: Then it was a horrid experience, filthy and run down. This time I went for a long weekend with the Israel Naturist society where I am a member, for a closed holiday. At first I was dismayed with apprehention but, within a few momentsI saw and felt that the entire hotel, from the manager to all her staff, bent over backwards to make this a memorable and very successful holiday: The hotel was completely face-lifted, the meals were first rate, the staff very helpful and friendly, the pool was clean and attractive (but cold!) I was almost sorry when it was time to fly home.
I must also state that I read several not so good recent reviews of this hotel - and they have no relationship to reality!

Room Tip: Rooms not facing the pool are quieter. There are no phones in the rooms. If something in your room i...

I can't agree more with the last 2 reviews, the photos of this hotel do not show what it is like at all. I'm sure prison cells are nicer. I didn't want to step barefoot in the room of which basic would be an understatement and the shower room was disgusting with hairs all over it and mould everywhere. Also it is true that there are teenagers running around everywhere all night- I wouldn't mind that so much if the room was semi- decent.

I've stayed in my fair share of grotty hostels over the years- but at least you get what you pay for with those- this wasn't even cheap.

I stayed in this hotel together with my family for four nights and didn't close any eye at all. Israeli youth was partying and making noise all night. The rooms were outdated and the shower was broken. The staff is selfish and totally not hospitable. In my opinion this cannot be called a hotel but a cheap youth hostel! No value for money.

this hotel was awful! I stayed here with my fiance and I and there was sand in the sheets and the shower looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. While it might be a decent location, not worth the bad conditions.

location of the hotel is good - very close to the bus station, airport and supermarket (one of the biggest and cheap at the tourist zone). Distance to the beach - 10 min by the main street. hotel managers are nice and helpful. AC and hot water everytime you need. The pool is good and deep (one side up to 2 m). Breakfast was do excellent with huge variety of dishes based on eggs (boiled eggs, fried egges, omeletes, toasts with eggs), vegetables, fruits, salads, yogurts, a lot of sweets, cakes, pancakes :))

room was spacious but very basic. for me, like at the dark grotto. entrance to pool was limited by lifeguard working time (10 am-6 pm), so there is no swimming at evening time!

The staff is horrible. We ordered through booking and according to it our room should be ready till 2 pm. And it wasnt! They claimed that they have to be ready till 3 pm! Moreover they told us that they prepair rooms only when the guest already in the hotel! Even at the worst hostels at the east it doesnt happen. Moreover the rooms are outdated and poor. In one word- disappointment! Never go to this hotel!
