Botanical Garden Of Eilat

Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: Welcome to The Botanical Garden of Eilat (in the organic farm) On the northern border of the town of Eilat is hidden a spectacularly beautiful garden - the botanical garden of Eilat. The garden was created on a former military outpost and is built on stone terraces in ancient Biblical style. Inside the garden there are rare plants from all over the world, a reconstructed stream, waterfalls, enchanting walking tracks, signposting, seating areas, bird sanctuaries and its crowning glory, a rain forest. The rain forest is the first of its kind in the world! A cool and refreshing experience for all the family. Does it sound like the Garden of Eden? That's just what it's like. In the Park: Plant nursery, sales centre, herbal teas and organic coffee, ice lollies and more

it's a small botanical garden nearby BIG shopping center, on the north entrance to Eilat, a few min. away from the city center.
it's not recommended during the summer hot season since the park is out in the open.
the walk in the garden should take less than 1 hour.
in total, it's nice for a one time visit.

there is a big gift shop, where you can purchase a vast variety of plants, flowerpots & other garden items.

“fun and cute”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Sure, there are many more luscious gardens, but this one was cute. The most notable thing is that it got lots of nooks for sitting and sculptures for kids. I think families with kids would find it most fun as you can basically let them run around. There's also a plant shop where you can buy some flowers and gardening stuff. People are friendly, easy to find. One more good thing for me is that all plants have name tags.

“Botanical gardens”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

Bit neglected and very dry. The rainforest was OK but I think they need more effort for this garden. The brochure was better than the garden was.

“Nice garden!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

I really liked this compact garden area full of flowers. I was able to take hundreds of pictures. Staff was friedly, and the entrance fee was low. It was easy to visit the whole area due to well planned trails and visual map.
