Enjoyed a great meal cooked by Mehmet and his wife Rahine, all local fresh meats and vegetables, a real taste of Turkey, Very friendly and welcoming people. The inside of the restaurant is very compact but this added to the occasion, and the aroma of the meats cooking was wonderful, but there is loads of alfresco space for when the weather is kinder.
We ate inside as the weather was atrocious, January being the rainy season!! and a really nice touch when we were ready to leave, Mehmet called his son who drove round in the pouring rain to give us a complimentary journey back to our hotel. I had the mixed kebab, with roasted vegetables - chicken on a shish, and succulent local lamb and beef cutlets. It was delicious. If you are visiting Ephesus then a meal at Selcuk is a must. We would really recommend this restaurant - it doesn't come any more authentic, and great value.
