We had a wonderful meal here. The family - mum, dad and son - who ran the restaurant went out of their way to make sure we were happy, and served delicious food. There were six of us there for dinner and every meal was great. I had the vegetarian plate and it was honestly the best meal I've had in Turkey. I'd highly recommend it.

When we arrived, the owner's son was on his own, and the place was getting packed. He ran like a headless chicken until finaly help arrived, including his father, and you could see he was willing to do everything to please all his guests. The main priority for them is extremely obvious: to give the best possible service and great food to everyone.

And that is what we received. Plates are not fancy and we are far from haute cuisine, but their dishes are fresh, extremely tasty and filling, and prices are fair.

the family that runs this establishment is incredibly genuine and sweet, and their food matches this attitude in flavor! also, for the price, this is an incredible dinner (and you get to watch the father put it in the brick oven right in front of you, and the mother cook it in the little home-like kitchen right behind!).
LOVED this place. we stayed for hours, served plenty of complimentary apple tea and warm smiles and with guestbook-reading and a comfy atmosphere, and I think they were honestly disappointed when we left!

The waiter told us about the daily special, lentil soup, which was delicious. We got a full plate for TL5 and it was one of my favorite dishes throughout our trip. We wanted to order the beef but waiter kept telling us that the chicken is the better choice. Chicken was good, but like others said before, does not come with any sauces or spices. We had fried aubergines with it and that added nice flavor. Glas of wine was TL10 and was generously poured.

My family of six had an amazing lunch here last week. We were enticed by promises of delicious lentil soup, made by the waiter's mother, and Ejder Restaurant sure lived up to that promise! The place is family run and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their food. It was all amazing - the chicken kebab, stuffed eggplant, special greens and lentil soup of course. Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The owners were all really friendly and took the time to talk to us, and even get me to write on the graffiti wall. Overall it was a wonderful experience with delicious food, great staff and a beautiful view of the Aqueduct! I would definitely return next time we're in Selcuk.
