“Great holiday ......with a few niggles”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

On a whole this is a fantastic Hotel , this was me and my families second time to this Hotel and both times came home enjoying the holiday .
The hotel itself is very clean and staff are great , the on site Aqua Park is fantastic .
Rather than write loads of negatives I thought I would just note a few bits that could make the hotel a complete 100% holiday .
Aqua park should be included in the All inclusive .
The mini bar in the room should also be included in the All inclusive package.
The ice cream should be allowed for longer than 2 hours .
Annoying touts for everything that can be sold including food at a AI hotel ????? Spa treatments , hair cuts , shaves , water sports , Diving trips and last but not least photos photos photos ? Coming round the pool everyday really needs to be looked at its not what people want on holiday believe me ......???
Finally the food situation , the food at the hotel is great and caters for all , but is spoilt by the queues at meal times coming more from confusion I think rather than being overly busy .
The positives out way any negatives and it would be hard not to enjoy it at Aqua Fantasy , if they could just sort out the few niggles I think this hotel would be hard to beat ......Enjoy .

Room Tip: Both times I've stayed in the world side over looking the Adult pool....fantastic and very quiet...

Unfortunately this resort has received a few negative reviews just recently, but I cannot understand why. People mention 'no show chefs cooking', yes there were, daily. 'Dark corridors' Not any that we saw. 'Poor beach' No it's most definiately not. The dark sand sparkles, and it's clean, and so is the water. 'Couldn't meet up with same people' We saw the same people around the resort daily, despite the size.

Anyway onto my review. We (2 adults, 2 kids (ages 8 and 4) stayed for 1 week 1st-8th June and we could've easily stayed longer. As people say, this resort is out on it's own, but it's full of things to do, and just £10 taxi trip to historic attractions, or the market. The resort is SO clean, and there's always staff cleaning. I didn't seen a speck of dust, or a bit of rubbish on the floor. The maids clean the rooms to a high standard, and leave a surprise on the bed ;-)

POOLS...many to choose from, from 3 large pools, to a few smaller pools with great slides for the children. These slides though are only switched on in between approx 2 hours slots throughout the day, which was a shame. They should be on all day.

FOOD...much better than expected. Lots of choice, even for fussy eaters. Help yourself drink stations, which we never had to queue for. Waiters also serve your alcohol to your table. Freshly cooked specials daily...which sometimes did attract a queue (beware, queuing isn't obviously recognised in some foreign countries!) but plenty of other fresh food to help yourself to without queuing. The salads are delicious and many different things to try.

ENTERTAINMENT...we didn't put our children in the Kids Club apart from the Talent Show rehearsal for 2 hours on the Thursday morning. They were welcomed warmly, and had a fantastic time. They then took part in the Croco Kids talent show, and enjoyed it so much. Auntie Sandra and her team of 3 are enthusiastic, friendly and always around! (when do they rest?! lol) The Mini Disco every night is a big hit with the kids, with the majority dancing along to the (repetitive) cheesy songs. At 9.30 the later entertainment starts, enjoyable.

OVERALL...we didn't think a week was long enough, 10 days would've been better. We hope to return next year, at the same time.

First Choice were okay. However, we booked an excursion, only to find no First Choice rep on the excursion with us, only a Turkish rep. This wasn't advised at booking. If we came again, I wouldn't book any of their excursions, I would catch a taxi to Ephesus, which we didn't have time to visit.

Just returned from a 2 week stay and loved it. Went with my partner and the 2 kids aged 9 & 20mth. The rooms were lovely, better than expected with large screen telly on the wall with disney channels and movie channels. Only thing I didn't agree in was having to pay for the mini bar when it is supposed to be all inclusive 5 star! I think if nothing else the soft drinks should be free.

The aqua park is ace, the kids loved it. You have to pay for food and drink in the park but just come out and go to the flamingo snack bar right next to it.

Lots of pools, bars, restaurants and activites for both kids and adults. Entertainment was good. Beach is lovely and the sea is warmer than the pools. The hammocks are a must, so relaxing.

The hotel is spotless, all staff, maids, groundsmen, waiters, bar staff all work so hard, many there from breakfast til we went to bed. we never found any of them rude or igronant, they were very friendly and had many a laugh with them

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us as a family and have already booked again for same time next year, with other family joining us too. Please dont let any bad reviews put you off........ you cant please everybody

We reservated with 2 month anticipation and were told our room will be available from 2 pm on the date we booked, got to the Hotel at around 2pm and we were told our room was not ready, there was noone around to help us with the luggage, we waitind for almost 2 hours until our room was ready, we went to the room and were so surprise to see we got like the smallest room i ever seen with one big bed and two coach, the room was for 3 grown ups a children and a baby, for that we paid 1300 euros for a week full board. The room was looking more like a 2 stars hotel, seriously i never saw something smaller, we went to the reception and complained about it, it was no way that the 5 of us could fit with luggage in such a smal room, besides our view it was to the horses and the parking place. They told us if we wanted a better room we had to pay 40 euros per night, so we paid..we got a 2 room apartment wich was o.k but over prices with the same view to the parking lot and the horses. The pools were very cold, and the pools from the water park even colder, our daughters didnt enjoy nothing because of that.During the vacation i felt like i was at work since it was an strictitly schedule about breakfast lunch and dinner, one we came around 7 minutes after the time for serving lunch and it was everything empty since they keep totally everything after 2:30 pm, so we heated to the snack bar and got the most disgusting hot dogs ever..so for the next day we tried to be around 2:00 pm at the restaurant for lunch. A big plus was the kids mini disco. If ur a grown up dont expect too much entertainment at the evenings, since after the mini disco time it gets so boring. The beach side it was a disaster , very dirty, we went there only once during our stay and didnt came back. We were mainly laying down by the pools and trying to be on time at the restaurant to be able to get breakfast, lunch and dinner...it wasnt what we expected, the entertainment team for the little ones was really great though.

The hotel is in the middle of the nowhere, luckily we had our own car so we decided to drive to the closest city wich it was around 25 mins away from the hotel. I noticed that the furnitures were dusty in our rooms so we asked at the reception if they could send someone to clean it, but they didnt send noone during our stay. The brekfast and dinner was good but the lunch it was almost everyday same and with no much choices. The waiters were kind and always willing to help, the reception staff couldnt care less about us.the bartenders from all the bars treated us like we were getting free drinks so they didnt make any effort to serve us what we wanted, i guess they forgot we paid in advanced for each of the drinks we were asking for.

We booked this holiday through First Choice. We travelled with friends, 4 adults 4 children. Overall as a group we had a fantastic holiday but it could have been better. I'll focus on the good points first... The waterpark which is all included was very well run and superb fun for all the family. We hardly had to queue and I was impressed with the safety implemented by the young staff/supervisors. The waterpark is a 2 minute walk from the main complex but minimal noise can be heard in the resort itself. The range and quality of food was excellent and there really was something for everyone. There were several restaurants and food available throughout the day. It was always fresh and some items cooked to order. We had fussy children with us and they were happy to try new things but if not to taste then classic kids fast foods were also available. The resort, pool areas rooms and restaurants were all cleaned to a very high standard and throughout the day and night-faultless. There was a variety of entertainment and activities for all age groups and throughout the day. The entertainment team were keen to round up participants prior to activities such as dart games, water polo, yoga, aerobics etc. the evening entertainment was varied and generally pretty good, much better than any resort we've been to before. Now for the negative.... We were disappointed with our First Choice 'family room with garden view' as we were given rooms with shaded balconys and views of baron wasteland. The rooms were extremely dark to the point where a torch would have been helpful to see Inside the limited wardrobe space. The staff were hit and miss, most of the bar staff were extremely rude, ignored the children in the queues and rarely served in turn or got drinks orders right. At times it felt almost like they would purposely give incorrect drinks or serve other guests in between orders. As there were 8 of us quite often we'd get served 2/3 drinks then they'd give up and serve someone else. My friend and I participated in the aerobics class for the duration of our stay and not once did the instructor engage in any conversation with us, classes seemed a chore and they were just going through the motions-quite impersonal and unfriendly. Overall a fantastic holiday and an excellent resort with wonderful facilities. Having travelled out of peak season I would be wary of staying here at peak times as it felt like it was at maximum capacity. We stayed end May early June and just about managed to get sunbeds but having to resort to using the towel reserving method very early in the morning. We struggled to get tables for 8 at breakfast times and evening meal times and frequently had to split up. A very busy bussly resort.

Hmm, where to start.

The hotel was huge and very impersonal, I personally like to meet up with other holiday makers for a chat, you may meet someone here then not see them for the rest of the holiday,

The hotel rooms were a good size, but the corridors and rooms were very dark and dingy. The hanging space in our wardrobe for two adults and two children, 10 and 9, was a foot long!? I had to hang clothes from lamps around the room.

The hotel was cleaned regularly to a very good standard.

The worse part of this holiday for me is the location. You cannot walk anywhere, it I in the middle of nowhere! I like to visit part of the Country I visit to see different sites. It cost £10 each way to travel to either of the nearest towns. I felt trapped, it is perfect if you only come for the sun, food ad relaxation and do not want to venture out of the complex - however this is not my idea of a good holiday, I will not be returning here.
