We travelled to AquaFantasy in the last week of September until the end of the first week of October 2011. The weather was lovely apart from one day which was a bit windy but on the whole the temperature was a comfortable 27 degrees.
There are two parts to this hotel - the British section and the continental section. We personally preferred the Tropicana restaurant as the British guests were piling their plates high with food they didnt eat, pushing and shoving - not pleasant. Whereas the other restaurant was more civilised. Again with the pools - the main pool is a bit like a butlins with games and the club song being played incesssantly. I much preferred the beach which was a bit quieter.
This is just my opinion, plenty of people enjoyed that sort of thing - but you can get away from it if you wish. Alot of wasps about (maybe just the time of year), didnt sting us but were a nuisance. The sunsets are stunning and the shows are good fun - the children enjoyed them.
If you come here a trip to Ephesus is a must, but might be cheaper getting a taxi and paying someone to show you around when you get there. It was L20 to get in - so pretty good value. We also went to Adaland and swam with the Dolphins - amazing but again did this ourselves and saved ourselves £70.
Kusadasi was a nice town - friendly locals all offering "Genuine Fakes" !! Great fun having a haggle with the shop keepers and market traders - just double check the goods you buy - some have a tendency to fall apart or break once we got home!
Waterpark was awesome - went here everyday!

Room Tip: Family rooms are nice but upgrading is well worth the money!

Truly we had two unforgettable weeks and that seemed will never end...

The first night we arrived, our child was stung by an insect (probably a night-fly - as the doctor said) and had a strong allergic reaction and infection requiring antibiotic and injection... The cost for the medical care was 140 EURO even though we had travel/health insurance... (I would like to mention that she never had any allergic reaction before). After 9 days our child was stung again by another insect (probably a mosquito this time) during an evening walk on the beach after dinner... This time we were taken to a private clinic in Kusadasi for treatment...

In both restaurants (Oasis and Tropicano) there were plenty of buzzing flies flying happily over the food and plates...
Breakfast started usually at 7am - but of course the natural juice and the croissants were done only after 8am. The "cherry on the cake" was the stable smell floating all around us early in the morning on the restaurant veranda and the sparrows stealing from our plates from under our noses (they were quite cute... if we are not thinking they might have salmonella and other "nice" bacteria or parasites).

We had a dark room (with brown walls) that was facing the neighbouring swamp and we "enjoyed" the constant visit of different types of flies, mosquitoes and other bugs - no matter how fast we tried to enter the room and pull the balcony-door behind us. It was practically impossible to enjoy sitting on the balcony...
Every night the hall was extremely noisy until late: running children, chattering parents, banging doors ... sometimes boozy people finishing their stories at 2am...

And - the last but not the least - we were absolutely "delighted" to have lots of youngsters jumping (water bombing and diving) in the pools...

Promise we will never return at this resort and will never recommend it... not even to our enemies...

BTW: on the positive side - the staff (cleaning ladies, waiters, medical personnel, reception staff, gardeners, etc) are doing their best to do a great job.

I went here, july/Aug last year, it was amazing. I just dony know where to start. The only bad point i have is, there was way too much to take in. I feel we only got on our feet as we was ready to leave, we went for 10 days, i would defo do 2 weeks here again.

Room Tip: We had a view of the Gardens and the Aqua Fantasy Park

We stayed out of season, unfortunately the weather was not the greatest, but hotel made up for it. The shows that the entertainment team put on at night in the open theatre are fantastic. my Grandson loved them, especially Shrek and Lion King. try the other restaurants, as variety is the spice of life. there is so much to do, it is a great hotel for a family holiday. i would go again.
