“The place to stay if you are going to Ephesus”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

I arrived at Atilla's planning to stay a few days, and wound up spending a week there. It is possible to walk to the ruins at Ephesus (about 45 minutes). Most of the walk is pleasant and scenic, though the last part involves being on the road and dodging the tour buses as they go by. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the meals (it is possible to buy into a package that includes both lunch and dinner) are excellent. Not only is the food good (vegetarian options available), but mealtimes are sociable, and you get a chance to share stories with many fellow travelers. The swimming pool is a good break after the Ephesus hike, and in the evening you can smoke a hookah or shoot pool (no extra charge) on their excellent table. Atilla, his family, and the staff of this hostel have provided a wonderful place to stay.

This hostel does all the little things right. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food was fantastic, there were great services (like free shuttle from the bus station) but most of all it is the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming eager to help with anything they could. The location is only a 45 scenic walk to the south gate of Ephesus. Take the time and walk Atilla or any of the staff will show you the way. Atilla himself was a blast sharing stories about the area and about his travels. This place is not to be missed, come for a day or a week it won't disappoint! This is surely one of our most memorable and favourite hostel experience ever!

Although the pool and outside area is great wedidnt get a chance to enjoy it. Atilla is walkable to town but on a hot highway. They provide a few shuttles a day but with a 15 tl taxi ride u could stay in town for cheaper.also the barking dogs all night made my light sleeping impossible. If u are prepared to chill somewhere its great, otherwise stay in town.

Room Tip: They planto upgrade the bungalows this winter. Be aware that shared bath is a walk across complex. H...

I adored this hostel. The owner was very friendly, and the staff were extremely helpful, not to mention fun to talk to. My favorite thing by far was the home cooked meals. It ended up being some of the best food I had my entire time in Turkey. They have a free shuttle to the city center, which is excellent because the hostel is located fairly far from it. I wish we could have stayed just one more night. One of the best hostels I've had the opportunity to visit.

Atilla is a natural host making for a very enjoyable stay. The food, cooked by Atilla's Mum, is excellent, the portions are generous & served to all with an understated efficiency. The common meals make for a sociable time, aided by Atilla's gregariosness. the nights we stayed there was a mix of nationalities: Aussies, New Zealanders, South Africans & Americans ranging in age from early 20s to early 60s and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The accomodation is simple & clean and very reasonably priced. But be warned, due to the convivial atmosphere you may find youself having a drink or two more than usual.

Really nice hostel/guesthouse! Nice atmosphere, and nice people. Best thing that it is walkable to Ephesus. They also have a free shuttle from and to Selcuk's busstation.

In the evening they prepare dinner which is served to all the guest at a certain time, resulting in nice conversations at the long tables. The pool is excellent!

Also nice is the opportunity to use all the facility's even if you have checked out and your bus is leaving, for example, in the evening.

Nice rooms, good food for a quite cheap price, really good atmosphere with free games, travel guides, books and a very nice pool. It is also nice and quiet place, not in Selçuk's city center but close to Ephesus and there are free shuttles to Selçuk
