This place is a 10-15min walk from the railway station - just cross the railway, take the pedestrian bridge and ask around for exact directions, just to make sure you dont get lost.

The rooms are pretty tiny, compared to the rooms we stayed in other parts of Turkey, but we couldnt care less as the rooms for us are only for a 6hour sleep and a quick shower.

Breakfast is served on the rooftop, which offers a decent view of the entire city.

Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were adequate. View from rooftop restaurant was nice, though we didn't eat there. 15 - 20 minute walk down a somewhat steep hill to the city centre. 10 minute (25-30 TL) cab ride to Ephesus.

Room tip: Rooms could get cold in October, but extra blankets provided on wardrobe.

Location is good.
The view from the restaurant at roof top is very good.
Moreover, the owner is very kind and friendly.
His service is excellent !
Hotel facility is a little old but cost performance is good considering the room charge.
I would like to stay there again.

Excellent view of the whole city. Quiet and peaceful and breakfast every morning. The owners were so friendly. I will be back! It was a little confusing to find, but we stopped at the tourist information in town and they drew on a map how to get there. After that, it was really easy to find and a real gem to the whole city tucked away!

The hotel owner made our one night stay here the highlight of our time in Turkey. His genuine warmth and friendliness warmed us and helped us to fall in love with Selcuk. Plus he's very accomplished in the kitchen. Besides the scrumptious breakfast spread on the rooftop terrace, he grilled a fish dinner that was beautifully presented and among the best meals we've ever had. And best of all was that we experienced that wonderful meal while enjoying the lovely view of the illuminated castle and the sunset over the Aegean in the distance.

As another reviewer mentioned, the hotel initially was a bit hard to find because it's tucked away on a side street up the hill from the train station. But we soon realized how conveniently it's located: just a short taxi ride to Ephesus and a five minute walk to the train station.

The rooms are basic but scrupulously clean. But the food, the lovely evenings and mornings on the rooftop terrace, the very affordable prices, and, most importantly, the owner's way of making you feel a part of his family and as if you've known him for years makes it a place you'll want to visit over and over again.
