Booked for 2 nights at Saint John Hotel and have to say our first and last impressions were all great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms comfortable and nicely furnished. Close to all the sites around Ephesus and easy walking distance to many restaurants. Would not hesitate to highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone.

Very nice small hotel, only drawback is the walk to dinner. Very well appointed, good service, everything worked, nothing was any trouble. Handy to Ephesus, a bit longer drive to Pammukale. Very handsome mosque not far away, largely bui;lt with masonry from a nearby Greek temple that is sadly only a large pond now. Say hello to the Persian cat for us.

This is a lovely hotel with clean, spacious and comfortable rooms.Staff are very polite and helpful.
Beautiful courtyard and pool area though pool looks a bit cloudy-we would have loved a swim but not sure about it.Good location for exploring Ephesus.
Easy car parking.Breakfast was a little disappointing in that the pastries were rather stale.
Overall pretty good.

A good choice for getting to see Ephesus
After staying in some mediocre places on the way up the coast, it was a delight to be looked after. Welcoming drinks. A very relaxing atmosphere. Super comfortable beds. Lovely rooms, perfect.
Fantastic breakfast, really fantastic. All cakes home made, light as a feather. Lots of fresh fruit on offer, like figs. Plenty of pastries. As well as the usual Turkish style breakfast things. Plenty of tea and coffee at hand. They make Turkish coffee to demand. Wish we'd stayed longer.
niggling point - we asked for some washing and ironing to be done, and the washing came back more than damp and the ironing wasn't very professional.

We have stayed at several hotels across Turkey and this one is up there. The staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door and are very keen to assist. It is it's first summer season and everything is new and comfortable. The pool is not large and has no sunbeds but the area is certainly inviting after a days walking and exploring. The street out front looks a little rough but the people seem friendly enough. I would stay again "no worries".

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the pool, others have glimpses of the castle and houses. I think all have balcon...

Lovely, very comfortable hotel in a quiet road just outside the main shopping/eating area of Selcuk which is about a 10 minute walk away but the pay off is quiet nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful and fluent in both English and French as one or other of them has lived in Belgium or London for some years. Very quick to sort out any problems. We booked an Ephesus tour through them which was remarkably cheap, so much so I emailed them to query it. Minor glitches with a lamp and hair dryer were fixed immediately. Nice swimming pool but I wouldn't want to be in a ground floor room opening onto it. Next year the roof terrace should be shaded which will make it a lovely place to sit and relax/read/have a drink with a great view of the castle and St John's.

Room Tip: Choose a room that overlooks the pool but is not on the ground floor.
