Owner description: This fine example of Seljukian architecture was purposely built with an asymmetrical style along with several Ottoman style elements, which are revealed in the turquoise and blue faience mosaics.

We visited the mosque while in Selcuk during Ramadan - we were worried about entering but were soon invited in to take photographs by the friendly Imam. The Imam gave us a brief explanation of the historical mosque. Please feel free to buy things from the Imam as he has a stall selling goods at the entrance to the mosque.

The Mosque was very plain, with renovated walls. To left of the entrance remain bits of Arabic scripture. The garden is quaint with a fountain and palm trees. Ancient ruins are stacked near the far end of the garden.

The mosque is not impressive, not a big one, and decoration is simple.
More interesting is the courtyard, outside, where you can see the remains of the old temple. It is a good idea to have a personal guide, that will explain you better the history of the place. This way you will have a better understanding of what you are seeing.
Of course, in front of the mosque, there are several souvenir shops.

I liked the courtyard the most. The inside is spacious-- not particularly ornate-- put pretty nonetheless. Close to town so definitely worth peaking in for 5-10 minutes, though don't worry if you miss it.

a quiet place especially you come in summer time in the cool garden inside with the fresh green and flowers . The grave stones on the wall give a special atmosphere and the building at all is very beautiful. You can find a piece of Artemis tempel in the wall
