“Completes Ephesus...”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Nice museum that contains artifacts from Ephesus. This is worth a visit. Go right before closing, or very early to avoid the large tour groups...unless you are part of one!

“great museum, rude pushy shop staff”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

the museum was clear and well laid out and lit. The museum shop was full of expensive items with non-smiling staff, who kept asking if they could 'help', standing very close, whenever you simply looked at anything! The on making a small purchase they had no change but offered more items to make the purchase up to more cash!

“An excellent museum which should be visited alongside the ancient city of Ephesus”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

Having visited the ancient city of Ephesus we felt it essential to visit this museum to view finds, etc from the Ephesus site. The museum is excellent and the exhibits well displayed with good written commentary. It seemed to put the icing on the cake to our visit to Ephesus. It's a short Dolmus (communal taxi) ride from Ephesus, Selcuk is a medium sized bustling town, the Saturday sreet market is fantastic. The bus station is in the town centre and the buses are frequent to nearby areas and reliable. Selcuk alone is worth a visit, especially on market day.

“Interesting follow-up to seeing Ephesus”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Well labeled exhibits, fascinating artifacts, some of the best statuary from Ephesus is housed here. Go to Ephesus first so you have the whole perspective.
