“Don't visit on a bayram!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

I've lived in Turkey almost three decades and just had one of the worst meals I've ever had here at the Garden Restaurant. I will agree that the atmosphere is lovely with the dark furniture, comfortable chairs and trees. The food, though, was so bad that I can really only chalk it up to it being a holiday. We were the only guests in the restaurant and after admitting that some of our first choices were not available, we received salad with no dressing, an ice cold dürüm, tavuk söte with plastic in it from the chicken packaging and köri soslu tavuk that tasted like someone had just dumped a container of curry powder on some poor, innocent chicken.

The waiters were very nice though and I can imagine this might be a nice place to eat when they are paying more attention. At least many other posters think so!

“A great place to eat and relax in Selcuk”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

We loved it here - the food was great and the prices very reasonable. All your expected Turkish food - shish, mezzes, fish, rice dishes etc as well as a variety of drinks, beers and wines. It's in a lovely courtyard with lots of trees so very pretty. Staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming but also relaxed.

“Boomergang Garden Resturant you will keep coming back for more....”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this beautiful garden restaurant. The owner & staff were very friendly and the service was excellent we were welcomed and treated like we were family, you no your in the right place when you see not only tourist but locals eating there aswell. Even though they were fasting in such hot hummid heat nothing could wipe the smiles off their faces. Great variety of tradional inexpensive turkish food which will satisfy your taste buds wish we had more room in our tummies. After our meals we relaxed in the chill out corner they were kind enough to give us turkish & apple tea while Apo informed us of things to do, see and try around Selcuk also about other places around Turkey. The main selcuk bus terminal is only a 2min walk we hang out in the garden resturant while waiting to a late bus to our next destination I would recommended this place to everyone who gets the opportunity to visit Selcuk.

“İf you like parsley everywhere....”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

This is the place for you. Very slow service by very nice waiters, maybe students on holiday.
Food not too good to tell the truth, i am quite surprised at all the enthusiasm of the other reviewers.
Very dark tables in a pleasant garden, about 40 minutes waiting for 4 meze which were supposed to be ready, then a salad called "mediterranean", all parsley and a little corn, green and red salad and more parsley, all chopped quite big... İ just could not eat it, it was awful. The fried Calmars were quite nice.
We had turkish crepe with bananas and chocolate and they arrived all covered with more chopped parsley " for decoration"!. Just could't believe our eyes!
